Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker: Final Trailer and Official Poster released


The Skywalker Saga will finally come to an end, as Disney and Lucasfilm promote and tease with the release of the Final Trailer and Official Poster to "Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker" - also known as Episode IX and the final chapter of the "Sequel Trilogy" that began with 2015's "The Force Awakens" and continued with 2017's "The Last Jedi".


Here's the Final Trailer, which premiered online and during ESPN's Monday Night Football matchup.

Watchmen HBO: "Coming in the weeks ahead" trailer released


Finally premiering this Sunday and bringing a new kind of perspective into the world created by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons, HBO has released a new "Coming in the weeks ahead" trailer for "Watchmen" - the new American drama TV Series adapted from the 1986-1987 graphic novel series of the same name. The show takes place in an alternate history of the United States and present day, and acts as a sequel to the graphic novel as well.

Terminator: Dark Fate: International posters and Behind The Scenes video released


Set for release pretty soon and featuring the triumphant return of James Cameron to the Terminator film franchise, Paramount Pictures and 20th Century Fox have released a brand new set of international posters and an IMAX poster for "Terminator: Dark Fate" - the sixth film in the series but one that sets up a new story and timeline that follows after the events of the first and second movies since Cameron is back and serving as Producer.

"Birds of Prey and Harley Quinn": TV Spot and "Friends style" banner poster released


Set for release early next year and seeing Margot Robbie back as the fan-favorite villain turned hero (somewhat), Harley Quinn is out looking for emancipation along with a few new "friends" in a new banner poster and TV Spot for "Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn)". It will be the eighth film in the DC Extended Universe, and also stars Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Huntress, Jurnee Smollett-Bell as black Canary, Rossie Perez as Renee Montoya, Ella Jay Basco as Cassandra Cain, and Ewan McGregor as Black Mask.

ICYMI: Here's your first look at the Anti-Monitor from "Crisis on Infinite Earths"


Revealing the look of the big bad villain whose name fans of the DC Universe will know very well, The CW has released via Entertainment Weekly the very first image of LaMonica Garrett as the Anti-Monitor - who is the main antagonist of "Crisis of Infinite Earths" and is focused solely on eradicating all existence in the multiverse. Played by the same actor who also plays The Monitor in the Arrowverse, the character has already made his move and presence felt in the show, eradicating some worlds in "The Flash" and "Arrow" as they premiere and work their way to the big crossover event based on the 1985 storyline of the same name.

Crisis on Infinite Earths begins this fall on The CW.

X-Men #1 launches TODAY. Here's Marvel's launch trailer and Newsarama's primer


Today is LAUNCH DAY for Marvel's Merry Mutants... Or probably the best way to describe the new status quo is "Modern Marvel Mutant" as the "Dawn of X" age has begun and Jonathan Hickman relaunches the X-Men with a brand new ongoing series - with Leinil Yu and Gerry Alanguilan helping steer the art and inking duties!

To celebrate the occasion as well as promote the new first issue, Marvel has released a launch trailer featuring plugs and interviews from the staff and crew from the House of Ideas.

Zoe Kravitz is playing Catwoman in “The Batman”


History repeats itself for one actress who played/ voiced one of the most familiar female vigilantes from the DC Universe, as actress and singer Zoe Kravitz was cast as Selina Kyle/ Catwoman for Matt Reeves’ “The Batman” - a role she has already done in the 2017 3D animated feature “The Lego Batman Movie”!

Announced in Deadline, Kravitz’ casting comes after Warner Bros. went through a testing process - finally selecting her for the role. She joins Robert Pattinson - who will play the main role of Bruce Wayne/ Batman, as well as Jeffrey Wright who will be James Gordon. Aside from her credentials in the “Fantastic Beasts” films, she also starred as Angel Salvadore in “X-Men: First Class”, as well as Mad Max: Fury Road” and voicing Mary Jane Watson in “Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse”. Kravitz is also stepdaughter to Jason Momoa, who plays Aquaman in the DCEU universe of DC Films.

The Batman will be released on June 2021.

Also featuring Antonio Banderas and the voices of Emma Thompson, Rami Malek, John Cena, Marion Cotillard, and Tom Holland, the wild and eccentric Hollywood actor is going to bring to life the famed veterinarian named Dr. John Dolittle, in the brand new epic adventure film called "Dolittle"!

Dolittle will be distributed by United International Pictures through Columbia Pictures and will be released on January 29, 2020!

Reminder: X-Men #1 by Jonathan Hickman and Leinil Yu launches this coming week


If you haven't been keeping up with Marvel Comics and X-Men, it's been a GOOD PAST FEW MONTHS for Marvel's Merry Mutants. Without spoiling, Jonathan Hickman's "House of X" and "Powers of X" miniseries literally changed the game and the entire mutant community as we know it... And that directly leads to "Dawn of X" beginning next week with the release of the brand new "X-Men #1" series by Hickman, artist Leinil Yu, and inker Gerry Alanguilan!

ICYMI: Batman/ Batman Returns easter egg spotted for "Crisis on Infinite Earths"


Looks like Batman and DC Universe fans are going to be VERY PLEASED if this shot from the Instagram account "Crisis_On_Infinite_Earths" holds any weight to it!

Reportedly spotted at the set of the upcoming DC on the CW crossover sharing the same name as the 1985-1986 DC Comics crossover event series that reshaped the comic universe, a the front page of the "Gotham City Gazette" newspaper reveals "WayneTech CEO -Bruce Wayne to Marry Socialite Selina Kyle" on the front page - and it features Michael Keaton's Bruce Wayne as seen in Tim Burton's Batman and Batman Returns! As fans very well remember - Keaton played the Caped Crusader in those movies and had a romance with Michelle Pfeiffer's Selina Kyle/ Catwoman. Could Warner Bros. and The CW be bringing the actor back in the iconic role aside from this easter egg? Guess we'll find out soon enough!

DC Universe is repeating history by letting viewers decide if Jaosn Todd lives or dies in "Titans"


History repeats itself... And it's up to you viewers whether Batman's greatest failure will be reinterpreted in a popular live-action TV Series.

According to Comic Book Resources, DC Universe is sending a poll out to viewers of "Titans" that decides whether or not Jason Todd, the latest Robin and played by Curran Walters, will live or die after the cliffhanger fall he had in the latest episode of the series through the hands of Deathstroke. While it doesn't play out like the original 1988 Batman storyline "A Death in the Family" where The Joker is responsible, it still is left to the fans what his ultimate fate will be.

Remembering Christopher Reeve/ Superman 15 years after his passing


He was undeniably SUPER even after he finished his time in the most iconic superhero role ever... And 15 years after his death, the world still honors and remembers Christopher Reeve  - the man who starred in the 1978 Richard Donner directed "Superman" film and would reprise the role for three more sequels. His depiction of the heroic DC Comics character in the big screen is legendary, and to this day serves as an inspiration for many depictions and interpretations of the Man of Steel in all forms of media. Several tributes are still done and made for him, and several actors still look up to the Juilliard School as a man ahead of his time.

We miss you Christopher Reeve, and you'll ALWAYS BE SUPERMAN.

Kojima Productions goes on Death Stranding "World Strand Tour" starting October 30


With a month to go before Hideo Kojima and Kojima Productions make their triumphant first post-Metal Gear release with "Death Stranding", the video game designer and auteur has announced in his official Twitter page that a Death Stranding "World Strand Tour 2019" will be happening in different parts of the world, beginning in Paris this October 30th and working their way to different locations that include London, Berlin, New York, Singapore, Tokyo, and Taipei among many others!


Death Stranding, a new action game featuring an all-star cast that includes Norman Reedus, Mads Mikkelsen, and Lea Seydoux - will be released exclusively for the Playstation 4 on November 8, 2019.

Sony announces Playstation 5 release date for Holiday 2020


It's official - the next Playstation is coming sooner than you think!

Announced at their official blog site for their popular video game console, Sony has confirmed some details for the upcoming "Playstation 5" - including new "haptic technology" and adaptive triggers that will be part of the new features that we can expect from the next generation console. Most important of all, the PS5 will be launching on Holiday season 2020 - which will be seven years after the launch of the Playstation 4 and 25 years after the release of the original Playstation.

Daniel Craig returns as James Bond in first "No Time To Die" poster


Just in time for "James Bond Day" (aka the 57th Anniversary of the release of "Dr. No" - the very first Bond film), EON Productions, MGM, and Universal Pictures have released the very first poster for "No Time To Die" - the 25th movie in the long running James Bond series and once again seeing Daniel Craig reprise his role as 007.

Here's the official synopsis:

"In No Time To Die, Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology."

No Time To Die is directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga, and also stars Rami Malek, Lea Seydoux, Lashana Lynch, and more. It is set for release in April 2020 worldwide.
