SPOILER: Set sightings of "surprise villain" for Iron Man 3
Walt Disney Pictures and Marvel Studios have officially begun filming for their next heroic film adventure starring ol' shellhead with Iron Man 3, which is directed by Shane Black and once again sees Robert Downey Jr. return to the fold as Tony Stark/ Iron Man. Casting appears to be big for this new sequel too, as actors like Ben Kingsley, Andy Lau, and Guy Pearce have signed up and taken up roles that are either confirmed or still under speculation at this point. Whatever the case maybe, what is confirmed now is the appearance of a "surprise villain" that is sure to get fans of the armored avenger on a spin. Real reason for G.I.Joe: Retaliation's delay is due to Duke's role in the sequel
However your reaction may have been to the news some posts ago, the delay of G.I.Joe: Retaliation was undoubtedly upsetting to joe fans looking forward to the sequel. Bumped from a June 2012 to March 2013 release, Paramount Pictures explained that the cause for the delay was to convert to 3D. Several rumors through various sources online also suggest that the delay was caused by much needed reshoots, and possibly getting Joseph Gordon-Levitt back as Cobra Commander. However, news from Comic Book Movie and Deadline now suggest that there's a "real" reason for the pushing of the film's release, and it has something to do with Duke. The Dark Knight Rises: New Catwoman poster and more banners appear!
The fire continues to rise with the marketing for The Dark Knight Rises, as Warner Bros. unveils not just two additional banner posters for the film, but a new and femme fatale looking poster featuring Catwoman! Via Batman-News, the new one sheet, which was released through clever viral marketing, features Anne Hathaway's as Selina Kyle's alter ego, wherein her heel crushes one of Batman's signature Batarangs and leaves a playful kiss at the title logo!

G.I. Joe Retaliation delayed until 2013 due to 3D Conversion
Those who were looking forward to sounding the battle cry "YO JOE!" with G.I. Joe: Retaliation this year will have to wait, as the movie has been pushed back to almost a year due to 3D conversion!
According to a report by Deadline and subsequently posted by Comic Book Movie, the Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Bruce Willis starrer will be pushed from June 29th, 2012 to March 29th 2013, due to Paramount Pictures deciding to have the film post-converted to 3D. As a studio exec told Deadline:
“We’re going to do a conscientious 3D job because we’ve seen how it can better box office internationally. Jim Cameron did all of Titanic‘s 3D in post – and look how well that movie turned out.”

After yesterday's reveal of a brand new theatrical poster that received some mixed reactions from the fanbase, Warner Bros. has released a slew of awesome new character posters for Christopher Nolan's final chapter in his Batman film saga, The Dark Knight Rises! Warner Bros. has released a brand new poster for Christopher Nolan's final entry into his Batman film saga, The Dark Knight Rises. Bond returns as Skyfall teaser trailer debuts!
Eon Productions, MGM, Columbia Pictures, and Sony Entertainment Pictures has released the long awaited teaser trailer to the next installment in the James Bond film series, Skyfall. The twenty-third film based on Ian Fleming's British Secret Service agent creation, Daniel Craig returns at Agent 007, and this adventure puts his loyalty to his boss M (played by Judi Dench) in question, as well as a daring new adventure for him to overcome when MI6 is attacked. Many of you may know him as Drunken Master or the cop Lee from the Rush Hour movies, but regardless of how you've heard of him, Hong Kong action star Jackie Chan is a legend and icon. However, the man known for blending his martial arts prowess with his stuntman training and comedic antics has finally decided to put down the fighting gloves for good, announcing his retirement to the world during the Cannes Film Festival. His last film that he also directed, "Chinese Zodiac", will be the final film where he will be billed as an action star. Chan hopes to work on his acting muscles instead, and the 58-year old actor looks forward to taking it easy and resting well from the action and fighting spotlight.

Filipino Artist and Jonah Hex Creator Tony DeZuniga passes away.
One of the legendary artists in the local and international comic industry passed away, and his contributions to the medium will never be forgotten.
Tony DeZuniga, best known to comic fans as the creator of DC Comics character Jonah Hex, died today. Known affectionately as "Mang Tony" to most Filipino artists, he was known as the first Filipino artist to get his worked accepted by an American publisher, paving the way for many more Pinoy artists such as Gerry Alanguilan, Carlo Pangulayan, and Leinil Yu to pursue their dreams and work in international comic publications as well. He truly is a legend, both in the Philippine and International Comic Book Industry, and his works will always be remembered by people worldwide. The Amazing Spider-Man: Oscorp Industries viral website launches
Sony Pictures and Marvel are picking up the pace with their viral marketing campaign for The Amazing Spider-Man! Marc Webb's reboot film of the Spider-Man film series is hitting theaters in July, and the studios are busy gearing up promotions by releasing several new clues and teasers, which includes this new viral website for Oscorp Industries! Those familiar with the mythos of the webslinger will know that Oscorp Industries, or Oscorp for short, is a weapons manufacturing company owned and handled by the Osborn familu, particularly one Norman Osborn... aka Spider-Man's greatest nemesis The Green Goblin!
It still remains to be seen whether or not Norman will play a pivotal role in The Amazing Spider-Man, but Curt Connors (played by Rhys Ifans) is a scientist working with the company, and he's a mentor to Peter Parker's love interest, Gwen Stacy! What secrets and role do the company have to the creation of Spider-Man and The Lizard? We just have to wait and see when The Amazing Spider-Man hits theaters! The Avengers scores big in the US box office and 30 minutes of deleted scenes in Blu-Ray!
After opening last May 4 in the United States, Walt Disney Pictures and Marvel Studios superhero team up movie The Avengers has literally assembled legions of fans and movie goers in a manner like no other, and has nabbed a resounding $200.3 Million on its first opening weekend run, shattering the record once held by Warner Bros. by last year's final Harry Potter movie, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II! The movie also opened in international theaters on April 25th, and in over 12 days of release, the film has grossed more than $641.8 Million internationally! As a result, the film has had the biggest opening in countries such as Russia, Mexico, New Zealand, Hong Kong and the Philippines! New Snow White and the Huntsman theatrical poster debuts online
Universal Pictures has released a new theatrical poster for "Snow White and the Huntsman", their reimagining of the classic Brothers Grimm tale "Snow White". Starring Kristen Stewart of Twilight fame as Snow White and Chris Hemsworth of Thor and Marvel's The Avengers fame as The Huntsman, both individuals are thrust into a game of cat and mouse as the evil queen (played by Charlize Theron) sends the Huntsman to kill Snow White. Sam Clafin of Pirates of the Carribean: On Stranger Tides also stars as the prince who is in love with Snow White.
Snow White and the Huntsman comes out in theaters on June 1st.

Joss Whedon Behind The Scenes on The Avengers and reminiscing on Batman!
However, the man behind Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Firefly was also known for pursuing treatments for other heroes, including DC Comics' own Wonder Woman and Batman! In an article by Cinema Blend, the director goes on to discuss how his treatment for the Caped Crusader got rejected, as well as his favorite scene from the script he submitted, which delves deeper into a young Bruce Wayne's life that is darker and grittier than the one eventually portrayed in Christopher Nolan's epic Batman films! Even if Whedon didn't get The Dark Knight, he certainly got Earth's Mightiest Heroes, and it's a hit that will certainly add more points to his awesome resume!
