Coming Soon has gotten ahold of some set photos for the Robocop remake, which is currently filming in Toronto and under the direction of Jose Padilha. The film, starring the likes of Joel Kinnaman, Samuel L. Jackson, Gary Oldman, and Michael Keaton, is slated for an August 2013 release. Suffice to say, SPOILERS if you look below to see the set photo that reveals the look of the new armor for the remake.
There's Robocop's new armor. Personally, it doesn't beat the original that first appeared in the original 1987 flick of the same name starring Peter Weller and directed by Paul Verhoeven. For more on the set photos, visit the source post at Slash Film and Coming Soon.
Robocop premieres with a new look for "The Future of Law Enforcement" on August 9, 2013.
