Set for release on May 2, 2014, Sony and Columbia Pictures have just confirmed that Andrew Garfield and director Marc Webb will return for the sequel to this year's Spider-Man reboot flick "The Amazing Spider-Man"! Garfield of course will reprise his role as Peter Parker/ Spider-Man, while Emma Stone is still in final negotiations to return as his love interest, Gwen Stacy. The screenplay will be written by Transformers and Star Trek movie scribes Robert Orci and Alex Kurtzman. Production is expected to begin sometime next year as well.
