Avengers: Age of Ultron - Ultron revealed, Cap and Iron Man on the Entertainment Weekly cover, and article covering the plot of the film!
In what is certainly a BIG MONTH for popculture and comics as fans around the world eagerly await this year's San Diego Comic-Con to happen, Marvel and Entertainment Weekly have gone ahead and teased fans waiting for the arrival of news for the second film gathering of Earth's Mightiest Heroes on-screen, as the cover to the new issue of EW features Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans back as Iron Man and Captain America respectively in their new suits sans mask for Avengers: Age of Ultron... With the titular bad guy evil robot himself (who will be played by James Spader) standing in the middle of them!
And just like that, the new EW article that features the cover also reveals how Ultron was made... By Tony Stark/ Iron Man himself! After the events of Iron Man 3 and his Iron Legion coming into the fold, Stark devises a plan to make a credible program to help in assessing threats... Which goes awfully wrong when it becomes evil and sentient. From there it becomes apparent how things will unfold in this next adventure by Marvel Studios and Disney for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as The Avengers will assemble to fight a threat that is seemingly unbeatable, and a living program to boot.
More information on EW's scoop and feature on Avengers: Age of Ultron can be found at their official page. Stay tuned for more updates as they come when SDCC 2014 arrives before the end of the month!
UPDATE: Comic Book.com has featured the first official stills from the movie, including this "wardrobe" piece!
