A well-know character from the pages of Hawkeye, S.H.I.E.L.D, and The Avengers is coming to the small screen and the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as The Hollywood Reporter has reported that G.I.Joe: Retaliation star and actress Adrianne Palicki is going to play the role of Bobbi Morse, better known as the superheroine Mockingbird!
No stranger to fans of Avengers, Mockingbird is the one-time wife and love interest of Clint Barton, aka Hawkeye (played by Jeremy Renner in the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies), and is one of the founding members of the short-lived second Avengers group, the West Coast Avengers. She's also worked with S.H.I.E.L.D, and upon her return after Secret Invasion, she's become another reliable member of Earth's Mightiest Heroes. Her appearance in the second season of the Clark Gregg/ Agent Phil Coulson starring Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D is extremely exciting news to Marvel fans, and should be a good addition to get fans to see the second season of the show!
