Josh Trank's "Fantastic Four" Flops w/ $11.3 Million Friday opening
Finally opening this week after going through quite a controversial journey behind-the-scenes with its production process, Josh Trank's Fantastic Four has officially been declared a flop and earned only $11.3 Million on Friday in the US. The film, a new reboot that follows the 2005 film and its sequel Rise of the Silver Surfer, was plagued with criticism and nasty reviews from all angles, with even the director himself dissing his own movie and blaming the studio for numerous changes done behind the scenes.
Whatever the case may be, it's safe to say that this reboot has been labeled as "totally unnecessary" and far from being "Fantastic" by the fans and viewers alike. It's better if Fox gives back the rights to Marvel Studios and send the team, who was once proudly called "Marvel's First Family", back home.
Fantastic Four is currently playing in theaters worldwide.
