Looks like Batman fans will have something else to look forward to besides the fifth and final season of Gotham down the line, as Gotham showrunner Bruno Heller is going to tackle the early years of a certain "faithful butler" of the Dark Knight - namely Alfred Pennyworth as Epix was handed a 10 episode - straight to series order for "Pennyworth".
While no release date has been given for the series yet, it is slated for a 2019 release. Heller, who is producing the show, will be reunited with fellow Gotham producer Danny Cannon - who will also executive produce and direct the pilot of the show.
