DC Comics reveals “Generation Zero” for Free Comic Book Day 2020
The future of the DC Universe’s new timeline will be explored even further when Free Comic Book Day arrives this May, as DC Comics has revealed via Newsarama that a new one-shot called “Generation Zero” will be released on that day to celebrate and promote the hobby of comic book reading.
As the article states, the lead story of the one-shot will be an epilogue to the Wally West starring “Flash Forward” miniseries, in which the time-displaced Flash and speedster will inherit the powers of Doctor Manhattan via the Mobius Chair. What exactly Wally will do with those powers is anyone’s guess - but it looks like the story teases that he’ll be pulling off a “Zero Hour” (DC fans will know what this means), as the cover to the one shot drawn by artist Francis Manapul shows. DC has constantly teased there will be major changes - and this looks like the start of things following the events of DC Rebirth, Heroes In Crisis, and Doomsday Clock.
The “Generation Zero” one-shot with the Flash Forward epilogue and reprinted story from Wonder Woman #750 will be released on Free Comic Book Day on May 2nd.
