Todd McFarlane draws Spider-Man and Spawn together for the very first time in Overstreet Guide cover
After 27 years since he last drew the character professionally, Todd McFarlane returns to drawing Spider-Man for an official cover and pairs him with the creation he made following his departure from Marvel Comics in the 1990's... Spawn himself.
Via his own Twitter account, McFarlane shared the image for his upcoming cover of "Overstreet Guide" of Spawn crouching on a typical demon sculpture ledge... But adding Spider-Man as well hanging upside down and with the "Spaghetti Webs" the artist made famous when he was drawing the character in the late 80's for "The Amazing Spider-Man" and then his own "Spider-Man" solo title in the early 90's. McFarlane would leave the publisher shortly afterwards - forming alongside fellow popular artists like Jim Lee and Whilce Portacio their own publishing house called "Image Comics".
As a big time of Todd McFarlane's art, this is definitely a team-up that has to happen in an official comic book series of its own and it's been a long time coming too.
