Logan: James Mangold shares some more never before seen photos and concepts from the film
Undeniably one of the best superhero films ever made and something very worthy of the Academy Awards, director James Mangold's "Logan" was a certified hit and up there among the best movies released in 2017. It was the swan song and perfect ending for Hugh Jackman's tenure as the titular character in Fox's "X-Men Movies" saga - with the former "Wolverine" living his twilight years caring for an ailing Charles Xavier and discovering he has a clone daughter in Laura/ X-23.
Recently, James Mangold held a watch party for "Logan", and shared some new "Never-Before-Seen" pictures and concept art from the film that delivers more insight and glimpses into what made this X-Men spin-off film resonate with the fanbase. You can check out more via Comic Book Movie.com

Chris Evans gives his thoughts on whether he would play Captain America again after "Avengers: Endgame"
After playing the character with such gravitas and conviction in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Chris Evans has opened up and given his thoughts in a recent interview whether or not he'd return to the role of Steve Rogers/ Captain America in future Marvel Studios films, or if it was really the end of his journey as the Star Spangled Avenger after getting the happy ending and life he wanted with the love of his life at the conclusion of "Avengers: Endgame".
"Yes, I think it is." Evans said while speaking with The Graham Norton Show (via an article by Digital Spy). "It was a great run and we went out on such a high note that it would be risky to revisit it in my opinion. It was such a good experience and I think it's better left that way," he added. "It's not a hard no, but it's not an eager yes either. I think Cap had such a tricky act to stick the landing, and I think they did a really nice job letting him complete his journey."
Much as fans would like to see Chris wield the shield once again, his character in an elderly Steve Rogers passed the mantle to one of his best friends - Sam Wilson aka The Falcon. You'll be seeing the would be new Cap alongside Steve's World War II pal Bucky Barnes in the Disney + series "Falcon and The Winter Soldier" pretty soon - so the legacy of Captain America lives on there with the two men whom he trusted and fought alongside with the most.

Sonic The Hedgehog film sequel is officially happening
It looks like the way past cool hedgehog mascot of SEGA is officially getting a live action movie sequel after his successful first film hit theaters last February!
That's right, Sonic The Hedgehog is getting the sequel he deserves - as Variety reports that Paramount Pictures and SEGA Sammy have confirmed that development for the follow-up has begun. Jeff Fowler returns in the director's chair, while Pat Casey and Josh Miller are back to handle script duties.
After the first trailer for the film did poorly and negative reaction was given to Sonic's design - the filmmakers listened and went back to post-production for three months to redesign Sonic with an appearance that was more in line with his video game look. The family oriented film did well for an early 2020 release, and featured James Marsden and Jim Carrey in the cast, along with Ben Schwartz as the voice of Sonic.

It's official: "Zack Snyder's Justice League" will officially be coming to HBO Max in 2021!
In what was certainly the best news many fans and viewers of the DC Extended Universe have waited and prayed for, director Zack Snyder dropped a bombshell announcement during his "Man Of Steel" Quarantine Watch party and confirmed the longstanding rumors - there will be a Snyder Cut released for "Justice League"!
As reported by The Hollywood Reporter and shown during the watch party, Snyder acknowledged all the hopes and dreams that came with the "#ReleaseTheSnyderCut" movement - showing those joining the video conference including Superman himself Henry Cavill that the Snyder Cut will be making its debut on HBO 's streaming service, HBO Max, next year!
Originally released in 2017, "Justice League" was met with mixed reviews and looked like a lot of material was missing- but now the Snyder Cut looks to rectify that situation and present us with something completely new and true to the director's original vision. How long and what form that will take is still up in the air, with guesses being it may be as long as a four hour movie or split into a series. Whatever that may be - this will be what Zack Snyder intended before things got in the way in the production phase that forced many changes, as well as the fact the director had to step away due to a family tragedy - leaving fellow superhero movie director Joss Whedon to come in and finish the project.
He's bringing the band back together, and it will be "an entirely new thing". Zack Snyder's Justice League will be premiering on HBO Max on 2021. It will also include the big baddie himself - DARKSEID.

ICYMI: Ruby Rose exits Batwoman after one season; Season 2 will recast the role
In what is certainly very surprising news following the premature conclusion of the show's very first season, Batwoman star and lead Ruby Rose has announced that she is stepping away from the cape and cowl and exiting the show - giving a statement as reported and shared by Deadline Hollywood when the story broke:
"I have made the very difficult decision to not return to Batwoman next season,” Rose said in a statement “This was not a decision I made lightly as I have the utmost respect for the cast, crew and everyone involved with the show in both Vancouver and in Los Angeles.”
“I am beyond appreciative to Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter and Caroline Dries for not only giving me this incredible opportunity, but for welcoming me into the DC universe they have so beautifully created,” she said. “Thank you Peter Roth and Mark Pedowitz and the teams at Warner Bros. and The CW who put so much into the show and always believed in me. Thank you to everyone who made season one a success – I am truly grateful.”
While no official reason has been stated for her departure, it is both shocking and sad for Batwoman fans who have seen the series since Rose was introduced as the character in the Arrrowverse 2018-2019 crossover "Elseworlds" - becoming a prominent player and a best friend to Melissa Benoist's character of Supergirl. DC on the CW series. Berlanti Productions and WBTV have expressed gratitude for Rose's portrayal, and will look to recast the role with another LGBTQ actress just as the show enters production for its second season.

The Empire Strikes Back premiered 40 years ago today
Premiering at the Kennedy Center this day 40 years ago just before its theatrical run on May 21, 1980, The Empire Strikes Back is without a doubt one of the biggest sequels to come out and make a scene in the world of cinema and popular culture. It's significance in progressing the Star Wars saga cannot be understated, and there were plenty of things fans took in and found out first hand once they saw the film - primarily the continuing journey of Luke Skywalker, his heritage and Jedi training with Yoda, and the shocking revelation made by Darth Vader in the end.
Everything else is pretty much history and well documented through the years, but there's nothing wrong with taking a trip back to the past and revisiting some memories - of a time when Star Wars just got BIGGER and more wilder as George Lucas delivered his middle entry in his "Original Trilogy" of films. Above is a feature with Mark Hamill and Harrison Ford - being interviewed promoting the release of the film.
Happy 40 Years, The Empire Strikes Back!

Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch take the lead in “Superman & Lois” poster
As the Corona Virus pandemic puts a halt to many things and forces business and projects to readjust plans and schedules, The CW has already revealed their new schedule for the 2020/ 2021 line-up - with much of their shows set to return and begin starting early next year. Chief among these will be the brand new “DC on the CW” program “Superman & Lois” - which is a spin-off of “Supergirl” and sees Tyler Hoechlin’s Clark Kent/ Superman and Elizabeth Tulloch’s Lois Lane reunite to spearhead their own show where the Man of Steel and his wife are taking on the task of raising two boys - all the while dealing with the usual superheroics and a return to Smallville for some Kent related business.
Here’s the official synopsis for the show from The CW:
“SUPERMAN & LOIS — In SUPERMAN & LOIS, after years of facing megalomaniacal supervillains, monsters wreaking havoc on Metropolis, and alien invaders intent on wiping out the human race, the world’s most famous superhero, The Man of Steel aka Clark Kent (Tyler Hoechlin, "Teen Wolf") and comic books’ most famous journalist, Lois Lane (Elizabeth Tulloch, "Grimm"), come face to face with one of their greatest challenges ever – dealing with all the stress, pressures and complexities that come with being working parents in today’s society. Complicating the already daunting job of raising two boys, Clark and Lois must also concern themselves with whether or not their sons Jonathan (Jordan Elsass, "Little Fires Everywhere") and Jordan (Alexander Garfin, "The Peanuts Movie") could inherit their father’s Kryptonian superpowers as they grow older.
Returning to Smallville to handle some Kent family business, Clark and Lois are reacquainted with Lana Lang (Emmanuelle Chriqui, "Entourage"), a local loan officer who also happens to be Clark’s first love, and her Fire Chief husband Kyle Cushing (Erik Valdez, "Graceland"). The adults aren’t the only ones rediscovering old friendships in Smallville as the Kent sons are reacquainted with Lana and Kyle’s rebellious daughter, Sarah (Inde Navarrette, "Wander Darkly"). Of course, there’s never a dull moment in the life of a superhero, especially with Lois’ father, General Samuel Lane (Dylan Walsh, "Nip/Tuck") looking for Superman to vanquish a villain or save the day at a moment’s notice. Meanwhile, Superman and Lois’ return to idyllic Smallville is set to be upended when a mysterious stranger (Wolé Parks, "All American") enters their lives. Based on the characters from DC created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, SUPERMAN & LOIS is written and executive produced by Todd Helbing ("The Flash") and executive produced by Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, Geoff Johns. The series is from Berlanti Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television.“
Superman & Lois debuts on The CW on January 2021.

Before the corona virus pandemic threw many plans and businesses into disarray and postponement, DC Comics was finally set to release Geoff Johns and Jason Fabok’s long awaited Batman and Joker story “Batman: Three Jokers” into the world starting with the first issue solicited for a June 2020 release. Unfortunately, those plans did not hold up and now DC Comics has confirmed in their official website that the title will now be rescheduled for release this coming August instead.

DC and other publishers are slowly returning to distribution beginning later this month, but with that comes the inevitable rescheduling of titles - Three Jokers included. It’s a story that has been teased and brewing since DC Rebirth began and revealed to readers that more that one man is walking around as the Clown Prince of Crime, and the new three issue storyline will tell what exactly this means and it will involve Batman, Batgirl, and Red Hood - three members of the Bat Family who have been greatly affected by the Joker’s presence one way or another.
