“Halloween Kills” delayed to October 2021, Teaser Trailer released
Fans of the Halloween movie franchise who were looking forward to John Carpenter’s new sequel “Halloween Kills” will be unfortunately disappointed to learn that The Master of Horror, the team behind the film, and Universal Pictures have unanimously decided to postpone the release of the movie ONE FULL YEAR - from October 2020 to October 2021. This decision wasn’t made easily as explained in the letter released in social media, as Carpenter and crew have taken account of the current situation the coronavirus pandemic has left on the world, and it would threaten and compromise the experience of seeing the sequel in theaters if it pushed forward with its intended release date this year:
While this is devastating somewhat for those looking forward to Michael Myers return this October, Universal and Carpenter have released a new teaser trailer to tide us over and help us anticipate the continuation of Laurie Strode and her family’s battle and fleeing from the mask wearing serial killer.
