Batman is everywhere.
No matter what form, shape, or era you've known the character, DC Comics' own Caped Crusader and Dark Knight has endured throughout the years, and has come to be respected well beyond the pages of the comics he appears in.
That being said, there's a couple of goodies to be looking forward to, especially in the toy and collectibles department.
Despite the big news of Hollywood/ Actor Ben Affleck being cast in the role of Batman/ Bruce Wayne opposite Henry Cavil's Superman for the 2015 Batman/ Superman film, there's plenty of other updates about Gotham's Defender to take note of, particularly when it comes to celebrating his status in media and merchandise.
Released by DC Entertainment and showcasing the impressive line-up of sculpted statues based on several artist interpretations, here is the gallery of figures featured in the amazing DC Collectibles line that is "Batman: Black and White"!
Celebrating 50 statues that have consistently been released since 2005, the landmark 50th release based on Sean Murphy's work also appears on this video. For more information, visit the source post at the official Batman Facebook page.
Also over at Toynewsi, new promotional photos have been released promoting a December 2013 release of the long awaited Batman: Arkham City figure of The Joker for Square-Enix's Play Arts Kai series, as well as another alternate skin of Batman based on his Neal Adams/ 70's look.
Here's 70's Bats....
And of course the Clown Prince of Crime himself (looking as sick as he did in the game).
