Despite the coronavirus pandemic putting physical gatherings and conventions on hold and social distancing as a priority,
DC Comics will still give fans a chance to enjoy their favorite events and characters - including the second part of
DC FanDome this September 12 and then setting the annual
Batman Day this September 19st! The day of the Caped Crusader is going for a virtual celebration - with activities such as a
Waze tie-in feature in which
Batman will help navigate fans using the Google GPS software, or users can choose the guidance of one of The Dark Knight's greatest adversaries -
The Riddler.
Batfans also have a chance to go racing their own way with the
"Batman Virtual Run", and games like
Injustice 2 Mobile, DC Legends, and
DC Universe Online will participate in the event. Digital events will also go up leading to the celebration on Twitter, and numerous brands will also participate with new Batman merchandise and apparel offered to anyone wants to suit up like the Gotham defender.
