Some Breaking News has arrived for Star Wars fans - and they need to "Breath" like 
Luke Skywalker said to
 Rey in the opening moments of the first trailer for "The Last Jedi". 
Episode VIII hasn't even his theaters yet (that's next month), and now 
Disney has made a bombshell of an announcement to press and media - we are getting a BRAND NEW STAR WARS TRILOGY after the conclusion of the current arc involving the aforementioned characters, the
 Resistance, Kylo Ren, and the 
First Order.
According to the 
official Star Wars website, Johnson has signed on to helm a brand new trilogy of films - the first of which he will direct and write alongside longtime collaborator
 Ram Bergman. The exciting news comes over a month before Star Wars: The Last Jedi hits theaters - which Johnson directed and continues the story after 2015's 
Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Coinciding with the new trilogy announcement, 
Disney also announced (via a report by 
Comic Book.com) that a new Star Wars Live-Action TV Series is also coming with their soon to launch streaming service - which will contain programs based on their properties from 
Monsters Inc. and 
Marvel. No other details have been announced yet, but the streaming service is expected to debut on 2019.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi opens in theaters in the Philippines on December 15.
