The Last Of Us - The Weeks After Trailer Released By HBO And Shows What Comes Next

At long last, the TV Series adaptation of The Last Of Us is finally online and streaming on HBO GO. Fans and viewers are calling it a "near flawless adaptation" of the popular video game series by Naughty Dog and PlayStation, and it's hard to argue with considering I myself have watched the pilot and loved it! You can check out my review of that HERE - both written and video from the special screening I attended last week c/o HBO Asia!

Now the big question is "What Comes Next"? Well HBO has prepared a new "The Weeks After" trailer teasing the next batch of episodes coming in the next couple of weeks, and you can view it below!

HBO Max Officially Announces The Last of Us Release Date With New Poster

It’s official. The live-action TV series based on Naughty Dog’s seminal and groundbreaking action-adventure video game franchise is coming this January, as HBO Max releases a poster for “The Last of Us” - with the date “January 15” set beside the streaming service logo as we get a look at an epic looking one-sheet with Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey’s Joel and Ellie walking in the background to an uncertain journey in a post-apocalyptic world that’s ravaged by a mutated virus.

The Last of Us is developed by “Chernobyl” series director Craig Mazin and the director of the games himself, Neil Druckmann.

Reminder: The Last of Us Part II FINALLY arrives tomorrow

Tomorrow is June 19 - which is the official worldwide release date of Naughty Dog's long awaited sequel game "The Last of Us Part II". Seven years after the release of Neil Druckmann's seminal post-apocalyptic survival horror adventure story, it's been a long time coming to see what happens next in the story of a world torn apart by a fictional Cordyceps fungus - which turns infected in cannibalistic beasts. Players followed protagonists Joel and Ellie as they travel cross country through what's left of the United States - traversing harsh environments, battling the Infected, as well as other desperate survivors with different morals and objectives.
