ICYMI: Cal Kestis Returns For Star Wars Jedi: Survivor in 2023

Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment delivered quite the surprising Star Wars video game experience with 2019's "Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order" - which introduced surviving Jedi Padawan Cal Kestis, his droid BD-1, and the various allies and enemies he encounters as he tries to find purpose and survive the Galactic Empire's purge of surviving Jedi Order five years after the events of Revenge of the Sith.

Nearly five years after that game's release, we're officially getting a sequel to that story from the same developers - and it debuted on this year's returning Star Wars Celebration at Anaheim to boot. Check out the first teaser trailer for "Star Wars Jedi: Survivor".

Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order: First official trailer and release date revealed in Star Wars Celebration 2019

In Day 2 of this week's Star Wars Celebration in Chicago, EA Games and Respawn Entertainment finally unveiled the first official details, trailer, and release date for their upcoming Star Wars action adventure game "Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order" - a game that puts you in control of a surviving Jedi Padawan who continues to evade "Order 66" and fight for survival following the events of "Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith".

Putting players in the role of Cal Kestis (portrayed by Gotham star Cameron Monaghan), the game sees Cal making a new life as a member of the Scrapper Guild, only to be hunted by the Second Sister and other troopers loyal to the newly installed Galactic Empire.
