One Slick Fan-Made Captain America Trailer

Captain America: The First Avenger won't be out in theaters til July next year, but you can't stop the hype from kicking itself into full gear. With the Thor Comic-Con trailer having made its way online recently, a lot of fans who haven't visited the recent SDCC already have their taste of the God Of Thunder upcoming movie.

However, there is the short Cap footage shown in the SDCC floor as well, and judging from descriptions by those in attendance, it really sounds kick ass. In fact, some fans even went the extra mile to concoct their own trailers of what to expect from the Cap movie, and this particular one caught my eye in You Tube.

Kicking The Weekend WIth Some Street Fighter!

I recently got Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix from the Playstation Network sale, and for somebody like me who appreciates all things Hadoken and Sonic Boom, I've been enjoying the game for the most part, especially with the updates sprites and graphics courtesy from the guys at UDON entertainment, who also work and publish the official Street Fighter comics. This game has been out for a long time now, but I didn't have the opportunity or motivation to grab it back then, especially since Street Fighter IV came into the picture and swamped everyone with its 2.5D system overhaul. Flashforward to today, and I finally grabbed SSFIITHD Remix. It may be "old school" SSFII gameplay with new school graphics, but I can still play this game like it only came out yesterday, and it only increases my anticipation for Super Street Fighter IV, which is closing in and coming this end of April. This game is great for nostalgic purposes, and if you're ever on the mood for some competition, online battles are still active and feverish as ever via multiplayer. Or you could do things the old fashioned way, and play against the CPU or call a friend and let him pick up a controller to fight you one on one. Either way you choose, this is Street Fighter at its best. Check out these series of trailers here that impressed me a great deal when I saw them before. They still look fresh to this day, and make use of a classic Karate Kid song that fits the mood altogether.

Round 1!

Round 2!

Round 3!

On the side, I noticed this impressive looking fan made "movie trailer" of Street Fighter that definitely should be checked out by the hardcore fan. For all intents and purposes, it's a "teaser" to the original world warrior tournament, and features Ryu training and honing his skills in preparation for the fight, ending the clip with a mighty "Hadoken!" that fans will definitely get a kick seeing. Check it out.

Final Fight Fanmade Movie Trailer!

Anyone familiar with Metro City? That's the fictional town where Capcom's signature beat'em up brawler Final Fight takes place, and anyone who played this during the Arcade and SNES days remembers how awesome the game was. It was initially supposed to be a sequel to Street Fighter, but Capcom decided against it and made the game its own unique item, introducing us to stalwart heroes Mike Haggar, Cody Travers, and Guy, as they took on the forces of Mad Gear gang to clean the city and rescue Haggar's kidnapped daughter, Jessica. The game's success saw Capcom making sequels, and in a twist of fate, the company even decided to port the characters featured there into the Street Fighter universe, with Guy and Sodom leading the charge and introducing themselves in Street Fighter Alpha/ Zero. Yes, Final Fight made history and remains among the top classic brawlers many gamers adored... so why hasn't a feature film been made about these guys yet? Taking note of this, a couple of fans went on ahead and designed a trailer that is not only kick ass, but was noticed by the guys from Capcom themselves, even featuring it on their main blog site! Check it out and witness what could be inspiration for an actual live action movie!

Yeah, it's awesome, huh? And it seems that the guy playing Damnd drew a little "TDK Joker" inspiration to his role. Gotta love dedication!
