The Supergirl Trailer is expected to be released this week! Be prepared!
In case you missed the BIG ANNOUNCEMENT made by James Gunn and DC Studios, we’re getting a sequel to this year’s “Superman” in less than two years!
“Superman: Man of Tomorrow” hits on July 9, 2027! To tease fans, new images drawn by Jim Lee, Jorge Jimenez, and Mitch Gerads were shared online as well and you can take a look below - featuring Superman fighting Lex Luthor in his iconic power suit! We’re getting David Corenswet back as the Man of Steel of course and Nicholas Hoult as Lex!
Posted by James Gunn himself and then by the Superman and DC Studios soc med pages themselves, a brand new “Superman” poster with David Corenswet giving an iconic crossed armed post has been released - ahead of the new trailer releasing tomorrow!
Superman will be released this coming July!
After appearing first and shown exclusively for CinemaCon 2025 in the US, Warner Bros. and DC Studios have officially released the new Sneak Peek footage for "Superman" - which stars David Corenswet as the new Man of Steel and also co-stars Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane and Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor.
The new footage shown is an extended look at what we saw at the beginning of the first teaser trailer for the upcoming superhero film - showing an injured Superman taken to his Fortress of Solitude by a helpful and energetic Krypto the Superdog. From there we see the robot assistants of The Last Son of Krypton helping him - where he is taken to a bed where the rays of the Earth's sun can help but painfully speed up his recovery.
Superman is directed by James Gunn and will jumpstart the new DC Universe of films.
It’s just a silhouette and a small cameo by all means, but Creature Commandos - DC Studios’ first animated feature set in the new DC Universe - just showcased the Batman himself! It’s not exactly the final look the Dark Knight will sport in the DC Universe, but James Gunn has acknowledged he exists - and it’s not the Robert Pattinson version from Matt Reeves’ The Batman Saga either.
It doesn't take rocket science to know who's perfect to play the MAIN MAN of the DC Universe, and that's exactly what former Aquaman actor Jason Momoa's going to be as he steps into James Gunn and DC Studios' DC Universe as Lobo!
That's right, the popular American actor hailing from Honolulu, Hawaii who first got his acting chops in Baywatch: Hawaii before starring as Khal Drogo in Game of Thrones, Arthur Curry/ Aquaman in the DC Extended Universe of films, and Duncan Idaho in Dune is now primed to play the popular bounty hunter who travels the cosmos with his space hog searching for targets and worthy adversaries. He'll be making his debut as the character in "Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow" - which is scheduled to be released on June 2026!
Jason initially auditioned for Lobo and said he'd love to play the character as he's a comic book fan himself. Now he gets his wish! See ya as the Main Man soon!
At long last and just before the year ends, Warner Bros., James Gunn, and DC Studios have FINALLY released the first teaser trailer for “Superman” - which stars David Corenswet as Clark Kent/ Superman, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, and Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor.
Here’s the trailer, and I reacted to it as soon as it debuted.
Superman will be released on July 2025 in cinemas worldwide.
The world will “Look Up” indeed and see a new DC Universe rise and begin next year, as James Gunn and DC Studios have released the very first poster for “Superman” - which stars David Corenswet as Clark Kent/ Kal-El, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, and Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor.
Via Warner Bros, here’s the official synopsis for the highly anticipated superhero movie:
“Superman,” DC Studios’ first feature film to hit the big screen, is set to soar into theaters worldwide this summer from Warner Bros. Pictures. In his signature style, James Gunn takes on the original superhero in the newly imagined DC universe with a singular blend of epic action, humor and heart, delivering a Superman who’s driven by compassion and an inherent belief in the goodness of humankind.”
The first trailer will also be released worldwide on December 19 (US Time).
Superman is set to fly in PH theaters on July 9, 2025.
Straight out of the panel at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con and as posted by director and DC Studios co-head James Gunb, the official logo for DC Studios stands revealed - and it’s based on the classic “bullet logo” used by DC Comics many decades ago, which is a classic design remembered by longtime readers and fans - especially Gunn himself!
