ICYMI: Spider-Man: No Way Home CCXP Villains Panel features Willem Dafoe, Alfred Molina, and Jamie Foxx!

 

Brazil had quite the Comic Con Experience this past weekend, and for those who are looking forward to the big Spider-Man film this year that is Spider-Man: No Way Home - Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures presented a special panel that featured three veteran actors reprising their villainous roles!

That's right, Willem Dafoe, Alfred Molina, and Jamie Foxx all sat down to talk about their returns as Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, and Electro, and it was a pretty solid nine minute panel after an introduction by MCU Spidey actor Tom Holland himself that should get the fans excited for what's to come with the final installment of the Homecoming trilogy!

Already sizzling with lots of teasers and marketing promotions, Sony Pictures and Marvel have cranked up things even further for their upcoming new Spider-Man movie by releasing yet another new international trailer for Marc Webb's Spidey film sequel, The Amazing Spider-Man 2! Spotlighting none other than Jamie Foxx's rise as the villainous Electro, there's plenty of revealing scenes featuring him and Peter Parker/ Spider-Man himself Andrew Garfield, as the web slinging hero faces his greatest challenges yet.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2: Three new international "Spider-Man and/ VS Electro" posters debut online

Things are clearly going to go head-to-head when Peter Parker returns both in the big screen and to the Marvel Universe in comics proper, as big promotions and expectations are in full swing for The Amazing Spider-Man this year! That being said, Sony Pictures, Columbia Pictures, and Marvel have released THREE brand new international posters for Marc Webb's Spidey film sequel "The Amazing Spider-Man 2", featuring Andrew Garfield back as Peter Parker/ Spider-Man in his traditional inspired new costume and Jamie Foxx all charged up as the villainous Electro... And these two hotshots will go face-to-face come May this year!

Above of course is the "Face Off" poster between Spidey and Electro. There's something electrifying in the air alright.

Then we have Jamie Foxx as Electro, and boy does he look angry. Then the tagline "Enemies Will Unite" foreshadows the team-up between him and possibly the other villains featured in the sequel, which would be Rhino, Green Goblin, and/ or other mystery villains Oscorp may unleash? We'll find out soon enough when the movie comes out.

And of course how can we forget our friendly neighborhood webslinger himself? Charging into action and avoiding Electro's lightning bolts in an epic new poster!

The Amazing Spider-Man 2: Entertainment Weekly reveals Spidey and Electro face off

It's the kind of image that shows that things are going to go down in the sequel, and there's plenty more danger to come for Peter Parker and his alter ego, The Amazing Spider-Man, for Marc Webb's next installment in his new Spider-Man film franchise.

Coming straight from the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly and featured by Slash Film, here's the new cover to the July 2013 issue of EW, featuring Andrew Garfield face to face against Jamie Foxx as their alter egos Spider-Man and Electro, in the showdown that'll happen in May next year with The Amazing Spider-Man 2. There's plenty of juicy info being teased for the second installment in Webb's Spidey movie series, and with the SDCC just around the corner, we can expect more things and a possible trailer to come soon as well.

Photos released in prior months have already been leaked online showing Foxx all made up and blue as Electro, but without the effects. This time the EW cover gives us a look at the official complete look, and he's about to square off against Garfield's Spidey, who's all dressed in the new suit debuting in the sequel. The Amazing Spider-Man 2: New Set Photo of Spider Hanging Around

As Phase 2 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe begins with the release of Iron Man 3 in theaters internationally this week and more movies expected from Marvel Studios like Thor: The Dark World down the line, Sony Pictures, Columbia Pictures, and Marvel are busy cooking up the next installment of Marc Webb's Spider-Man film series reboot with "The Amazing Spider-Man 2"!

Slated for release on July next year, a new on-set photo has surfaces showing the new Spider-Man costume (or rather return to the classic look) in action, hanging around sporting a signature "stick to the wall"pose that Spidey fans will easily nod to. Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone are returning as Peter Parker/ Spider-Man and Gwen Stacy, while Jamie Foxx plays the new baddie for the movie as the villainous Electro. The Amazing Spider-Man 2: First Look at Jamie Foxx as Electro

Lots of big news has spilled online for Spider-Man fans anxiously looking forward to Marc Webb's second directorial outing with the web-slinger next year, as on set photos for production of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 give viewers a first look at Jamie Foxx as the villain Electro! Spilling online via photographer Thelonius of Splash News and reported by website Geek Tyrant, a couple of clear pictures gives everyone a clear and definite idea of what this version of Spider-Man nemesis will look like on film... And it definitely takes after the Ultimate Spider-Man version of the villain.

With the film still in production and special effects still needed to be added, Foxx's interpretation of the character is a bit bare for now, but hopefully we'll be seeing the action and trailers down the line in a couple of months.
