The Dark Knight Rises: Bane's voice being improved for the movie

UPDATE: CBM reports that Warner Bros. has debunked the rumors, and there is "no truth" to the new audio mix news.

Via a report from Collider as well as a story posted at Comic Book Movie, it appears that a lot of the feedback and comments given towards the near inaudibility of Bane's voice in The Dark Knight Rises has been addressed, as new reels of the TDKR Prologue introducing the villain (played by Tom Hardy) are now reportedly "clearer" and much easier to understand. A new audio recording has reportedly been sent, making it much easier to understand Bane as he talks without the background noise drowning the dialogue away. Not much else to say regarding the matter, but this is definitely good news for those who didn't understand and took issue to the voice. If you needed a sampling of why it was initially a concern, visit the source post at CBM!

The Dark Knight Rises Prologue video montage

Many have seen The Dark Knight Rises Prologue attached to IMAX screenings of Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol or otherwise. If you're one of the lucky few, then you probably know that after the initial presentation ends, a video montage plays that teases clips and scenes that will appear in the final product that opens in theaters later this July. Via Comic Book Movie and Vimeo, a very clear video of said montage has gone up and online for the world to see! Check it out below.

The Dark Knight Rises: "The Legend Ends..." Teaser Poster

December is a big month for fans of Christopher Nolan and Batman. It heralds the release of the much anticipated prologue of "The Dark Knight Rises" with IMAX screenings of Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol. It also saw the rise of the viral marketing campaign for the movie by Warner Bros, plotting down clues and various interactive material for fans to decipher in order to learn information related to the movie (and in the case of Operation: Early Bird, the locations of early screenings of the prologue).

Now, as mentioned months before and to probably usher in the debut of the new trailer sometime this month, Warner Bros. has released the newest poster for The Dark Knight Rises, and it signals the coming of Bane (played by Tom Hardy), and the end of an era that started in 2005 and skyrocketed with an awesome sequel in 2008. Take a look at the one sheet!

Very nice, and it echoes the promise of Bane "breaking the bat" ala the classic Batman storyline "Knightfall", where The Dark Knight's spine was broken by the brute. It follows the style of the past Nolan Batman movie posters, and is quite epic-looking indeed. For more info, check out the source post at SuperHeroHype!

The Dark Knight Rises: New info surfaces about Bane and 6 minute prologue

New information via Rama Screen, also posted in Comic Book Movie and Enewsi, has surfaced online that reveals more detailed information on the role of Bane (Tom Hardy) is and how the 6 minute prologue will play out for The Dark Knight Rises. This is reportedly insider information, and the person who wishes to remain anonymous has seen the prologue that's going to be attached with 70mm IMAX screenings of Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol. Until it's confirmed, take these bits of info as rumors for the meantime, but it sure is interesting to read about. Possible SPOILERS for those who wish to keep their minds, so if I were you, turn away from this post now.

TDKR Prologue attached to Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol (Updated)

Update: Slash Film updates that story has been confirmed, and the run time is 6 minutes, not 8.

Big Batman film news has arrived, but as far as official confirmation goes, take this one as a rumor first.

Back in 2007, while things were steadily building for The Dark Knight, director Christopher Nolan was wise enough to appease the hunger of fans worldwide by attaching a "Prologue" piece of the Batman Begins sequel into IMAX screenings of Will Smith's "I Am Legend". Obviously, the move was a smart one, and enough to generate buzz around the world, giving viewers a taste of the opening sequence of the film, as well as what Heath Ledger's Joker would be like in action. Sadly, the actor passed away tragically just a month after the prologue was shown, and the combination of that and his sudden demise garnered more interest for The Dark Knight, which inevitably grossed out the box office upon its release on July 18, 2008.

Flash forward some years later, and now similar news is buzzing up for the next and final Christopher Nolan Batman film, The Dark Knight Rises. While this has yet to be confirmed by official sources, movie news site Slash Film has posted up a rumor that another "Prologue" sequence will be shown, attached to IMAX screenings of Tom Cruise's next Mission: Impossible flick "Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol". It will reportedly run for 6 minutes, so whether or not this will be an opening sequence like TDK is still up in the air. Since Nolan shot certain sequences of TDK in IMAX which included the opening sequence/ prologue of that movie, the same should apply to the 6 minute footage from TDKR that will be bundled with Ghost Protocol. Hopefully this will get official confirmation sooner than later, and you can bet I'm going to line up in my local IMAX theater just to get a taste of things to come on July 20 next year!
