Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes will be released on March 18, 2014
Fans anxiously awaiting the release of Hideo Kojima's next installment of his epic Metal Gear Solid franchise won't have to wait too soon, as the first half of what makes up Metal Gear Solid V finally has a release date. The head of Kojima Productions has officially announced during an interview with XBox Wire that the prologue entry, Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, is geared up for release on the first quarter of 2014 - specifically March 18, 2014 to be exact!
Much like its Playstation Portable predecessor Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, Ground Zeroes will once again feature the return of Big Boss/ Naked Snake and his Militaires Sans Frontieres, continuing the events from the previous game and seeing the legendary soldier lead his army in a rescue and retrieve mission in a mysterious black site called Camp Omega located somewhere in Cuba. The game will also carry over gameplay mechanics and base building from Peace Walker, while incorporating some new innovations such as "day and night cycles" and new ways to sneak and chart a path through the story while retaining the main message behind it.

Fans of Batman and the WB Games impressive Batman Arkham series get a little Christmas package early, as Warner Bros. has officially announced the release of the "Batman: Arkham Collection" for the Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and PC!
Collecting all three titles in the blockbuster action game franchise based on DC Comics' own Dark Knight hero, the set contains Batman: Arkham Asylum & Batman: Arkham City, the prized 2009 and 2011 games developed by Rocksteady Studios and redefined Batman and gaming for a console generation. The collection also contains the latest game in the series released just last month, Batman: Arkham Origins, which was developed by Warner Bros. Reported by VG247.com, the set will contain different vouchers for the different releases, with the PC version notably getting a Physical Disc copy of Arkham Origins, while Arkham Asylum and Arkham City are digital download copies that can be redeemed via voucher. The latter two titles will also be "Game of the Year" editions, with all the extras and contents of those rereleases available as well.
