Report: Ben Affleck says "The Batman" on track for 2017 production; 2018 release possible
Looks like the reports of Ben Affleck's Batman solo film are getting more and more intense as 2016 begins to close, as Variety reports (via Comic Book.com) that during an interview with the actor/ director while promoting his new film "Live By Night", development is "right on track" and production may begin as early as 2017. This follows up on reports that Justice League 2 has been delayed and "The Batman" has been fast tracked in its stead, and Warner Bros. creative chief Greg Silverman seemingly confirmed the film may come out sometime in 2018. Take that as a rumor, but Comic Book.com has a report on it too via a story by Deadline.
No release date has been given for "The Batman", but Wonder Woman and Justice League hit theaters next year in the months of June and November respectively.
