Masters of the Universe: Revelation Part 2 trailer shows the fate of Eternia hanging in the balance

 


In less than a month, we'll finally return to Eternia and see what's become of its heroes and residents - as Masters of the Universe: Revelation picks up from the cliffhanger we saw where Skeletor gained the Power of Grayskull and became the almighty Skele-God. With Teela and the surviving Masters at a loss, the fate of newly resurrected Prince Adam also hangs by a thread as he was stabbed by Skeletor when he took the Power Sword. Now hope is all but lost... And now the story will continue with Part 2 and the surprises it has in store for us.

ICYMI: Marvel Studios channels Matt Fraction and David Aja in new Hawkeye poster

 


Taking a page out of one of the best comic book adaptations of the character to come out in recent memory, Marvel Studios has released a new poster for Hawkeye - which features Jeremy Renner back as Clint Barton and taking on a protege in Kate Bishop, who is played by Hailee Steinfeld. Joining them is the lovable Lucky aka Pizza Dog, and their adventure takes place during Christmas season in NYC! 

The poster is a callback to Matt Fraction and David Aja's run on Hawkeye - which began in 2012 as a comic series and informs much of this upcoming series.

Hawkeye starts streaming on Disney + this November 24.

Marvel Legends Hasbro Pulse Con 2021 Recap: TONS of reveals, X-Men, and the 20th Anniversary line!

 


Marvel and Hasbro fans definitely got BIG REVEALS at the recently concluded Hasbro Pulse Con 2021 digital event, as there were SEVERAL Marvel Legends figure reveals that had a lot of fans talking and geeking out over what's coming for 2022 and beyond! There's so many to talk about and you can actually stream the entire Hasbro Pulse Con on YouTube if you missed it, but here are the highlights and recap!


- Marvel Legends retro 3.75" series is getting Wolverine and Phoenix before the year ends, and next year will see Mister Fantastic, Falcon, and Venom joining the line-up!

- Writer Donny Cates exclusively revealed that Knull from his Venom and King in Black run will be getting the Marvel Legends 6" treatment!

- Baron Helmut Zemo is getting a ML comic book villain figure!

- Scarlet Witch and White Vision join the Marvel Legends 6" retro wave series under their West Coast Avengers label!

- David Nakayama sketches and reveals Vulcan/ Gabriel Summers as an upcoming Marvel Legends figure!



- MCU Sam Wilson Captain America and Steve Rogers Cap get a two-pack release with unmasked heads which includes an Anthony Mackie headsculpt!

- Bucky Barnes time as the brainwashed Winter Soldier gets a new figure from the flashback scene in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier!


- The X-Men Animated Series line of retro action figures were revealed, with Wolverine and Jubilee leading things and getting VHS style boxes based off the home media releases! Wolverine has the crush photo too!


- Finally, Captain America and a newly revealed Iron Man headline the Marvel Legends 20th Anniversary line - featuring blister packs reminiscent of the clam shell packaging!

Spider-Man: No Way Home spotlights the latest issue of Empire Magazine

 


In anticipation of the film's release in less than two months, Empire Magazine puts the spotlight on "Spider-Man: No Way Home" -  Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures third and final entry in the Spider-Man "Homecoming Trilogy"!



 Along with the cover reveal, two new still were also revealed in the article feature by Empire - which also has director Jon Watts talking about the highly anticipated sequel and how it's described as Spider-Man's "Endgame". That's pretty big a comparison.

To celebrate 20 years of Grand Theft Auto III and revitalize interest on the classic GTA games that came out in the PlayStation 2 era, Rockstar Games remasters three classic games and rereleases them as "Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition"!

The Flash Season 8 Trailer Begins with Armageddon 5-Part Crossover

 


Straight out of DC FanDome weekend after revealing his new boots that he'll be using in the new season, Grant Gustin will return as The Flash as the new season introduces as DC on the CW crossover level storyline in Armageddon - a five-part episode arc that features guest stars and appearances such as Katherine McNamara as Mia Smoak Queen/ Green Arrow, Cress Williams as Jefferson Pierce/ Black Lightning, Brandon Routh as Ray Palmer/ The Atom, and Tom Cavanagh as Eobard Thawne/ The Reverse Flash.

The main baddie is Despero, as portrayed by Tony Curran. Osric Chau also returns as Dr. Ryan Choi.

The Batman releases two new posters ahead of DC FanDome

 


In anticipation for DC FanDome tomorrow and the release of the brand new trailer for the film, Warner Bros. and DC Films have released two new posters for "The Batman" -- which is directed by Matt Reeves and stars Robert Pattinson as the new Caped Crusader.

A second poster was also released featuring Paul Dano as Edward Nashton aka The Riddler. Both are very minimalist in design, and definitely gets fans excited for the film's release on March next year.

Chip Zdarsky and Carmine Di Giandomenico explore Bruce Wayne's path in Batman: The Knight

 


In the same tradition as Batman: Year One, Batman: Zero Year, and even the movie Batman Begins, Bruce Wayne's origins and path to becoming The Dark Knight will be retold anew by the team of Chip Zdarsky and Carmine Di Giandomenico, as DC Comics presents "Batman: The Knight" - a ten issue miniseries that begins this January.

As The Batman reboots the film franchise again and introduces Robert Pattinson as the Caped Crusader, this new comic will give new readers a chance to jump in and see yet another modern retelling of how Bruce copes with the death of his parents and turns his rage into a mission and crusade that will define him as a hero to many. The question is how this tale is told and what skills and lessons will be picked up along the way? Legends of Tomorrow's 100th episode brings back members of the original team

 


The 100th episode of The CW's highly successful Arrowverse spin-off series "Legends of Tomorrow" will be a star-studded ensemble filled with familiar faces, as Entertainment Weekly presents the first look at the cast who'll be gathering and featuring the return of some very familiar faces - including Wentworth Miller as Captain Cold, Arthur Darvill as Rip Hunter, Victor Garber as Martin Stein and Franz Drameh as Jax who both combine to form Firestorm, Brandon Routh as Ray Palmer/ The Atom, Courtney Ford as Nora Darhk, and Falk Hentschel as Hawkman.



The 100th Episode will be directed by Sara Lance/ White Canary herself Caity Lotz, and will air on the 27th this month!

This year marks the 35th anniversary of Frank Miller and Klaus Janson's critically acclaimed Batman story "The Dark Knight Returns", and what better way to honor that DC Comics masterpiece than McFarlane Toys producing a new set of figures based on it for its DC Multiverse line of action figures?

As part of its New York Comic Con 2021 celebration showcase, the Toddfather has revealed our first look at the entire wave of The Dark Knight Returns 7" figures - comprised of 4 characters in Batman, Carrie Kelly Robin, The Joker, and Superman... With the Build-A-Figure being none other than the horse an older Bats rides during the third act of the story!

Marvel Legends 20th Anniversary Captain America figure revealed

 

Next year marks the 20th anniversary of the Marvel Legends series of 6' action figures, and what better way for Hasbro to honor that legacy than revealing a brand new line of "Marvel Legends 20th Anniversary" figures beginning with the Star Spangled Avenger himself, Captain America!



Exclusively showcased and revealed by YouTube user and toy collector Unparalled Universe, this new Cap 6' figure has the same body as the Marvel 80th Anniversary ML Cap, but with much brighter colors evoking the comic book look and of course paying tribute to Captain America issue #109 - the retelling of Steve Rogers origin issue that was also packed with the ToyBiz ML Cap that was part of the first wave of Marvel Legends!

ICYMI: Scarlett Johansson and Disney settle Black Widow lawsuit


 

Looks like the battle between Disney and Scarlett Johansson in real life is finally over, as both parties have settled the lawsuit filed by the Black Widow star over "breach of contract" in regards to the release of Black Widow -- which was released simultaneously this year in theaters and Disney + due to the ongoing pandemic. Terms were not disclosed, but The Hollywood Reporter has the scoop on the story as well as a statement made by Johansson:

“I am happy to have resolved our differences with Disney. I’m incredibly proud of the work we’ve done together over the years and have greatly enjoyed my creative relationship with the team. I look forward to continuing our collaboration in years to come.”
