After disappearing for almost a decade following the events of the 2015 event "Secret Wars", Marvel Comics is returning to the Ultimate Marvel Universe and teasing a "transformation" of everything else with the four part limited series "Ultimate Invasion" - which will be written by Jonathan Hickman (who wrote Secret Wars) and illustrated by "The Ultimates" artist himself, Bryan Hitch.
Launched in the early 2000's, the Ultimate universe was Marvel's new imprint that allowed creators to tell new stories of the iconic characters that have been long associated with the House of Ideas. Spider-Man, the X-Men, the Avengers, and even the Fantastic Four were all reimagined and made with modern sensibilities in mind, and the universe even dared to introduce new status quos and replacements. - most prominent being Miles Morales as the new Spider-Man and making Reed Richards into a mad interdimensional villain known as The Maker. Those characters will play a part of course in "Ultimate Invasion", which is set to begin this June 2023!

This month nine years ago, Naughty Dog released the downloadable prequel chapter for their critically acclaimed action-adventure game "The Last Of Us". It was called "Left Behind", and it focused on Ellie and her backstory before meeting Joel - as well as her friendship with another rebellious young teen named Riley.

Hours after the release of the long awaited trailer of Andy Muschietti’s “The Flash”, Warner Bros. Discovery has released three new character posters for the film - which highlights the main heroes that will be the focus of the film including Michael Keaton’s Batman, Supergirl, and of course The Flash himself.
Of course, Ben Affleck’s version of the Caped Crusader will also be in the film - as well as another version of The Flash and the return of General Zod. The movie is expected to mess around with the timeline and the multiverse - and hit the big ol’ reset button that will help usher in James Gunn and Peter Safran’s DC Studios which will shape a new and connected universe in the next couple of years.
The Flash will be released in theaters this coming June.

Discovery has released the long awaited trailer for "The Flash" - which sees Barry Allen playing with the DCEU timeline and changing things to as they weren't. As promised come the end of the month, DC Studios leads James Gunn and Peter Safran have revealed to the world what their initial plans are for the future of the DC Universe in media moving forward - with a slate of films and TV shows that will make up the first phase of what is entitled “Chapter One: Gods and Monsters”.
As reported by Deadline, the plan will stretch and materialize between 2025-2027, and will consist of five films that include a new Superman movie called Superman: Legacy (coming out on July 11, 2025), a new Batman and Robin film aptly titled The Brave and The Bold with Damian Wayne as Robon, a Swamp Thing movie, The Authority, and a Supergirl film called Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow!
On the TV division, an animated series called Creature Commandos, a Viola Davis starring Amanda Waller spin-off series called Waller, a Lanterns series with John Stewart and Hal Jordan, Paradise Lost featuring Themyscira, and Booster Gold!
