ICYMI: Marvel Reveals the First New Titles and Creative Teams for "X-Men: From The Ashes"

 

After the "Fall of X" and the events of The Krakoa Era end in a few months time, literally "From The Ashes" rises a new beginning for Marvel's Merry Mutants!

As revealed by Marvel during their Future of Marvel Comics panel held at SXSW convention, the House of Ideas will be relaunching new X-Men books under the "X-Men: From The Ashes" initiative - with "Uncanny X-Men", "X-Men", and "Exceptional X-Men" leading the charge as the first three new books coming out this Summer!

With Gail Simone and David Marquez handling Uncanny X-Men, Jed MacKay and Ryan Stegman teaming up for X-Men, and finally Eve L. Ewing and Carmen Carnero taking on the Exceptional X-Men, that's a pretty solid line-up of teams harkening back to the 90's era of X-Books... And that's just the tip of the iceberg as there's more titles coming that also revert back to the classic 90's style logos too.

The new era of X-Men begins this July with “X-Men” by MacKay and Stegman launching first!

Marvel Announces X-Men '97 Prelude Comic Book Tie-In Series For 2024

 

Marvel's Merry Mutants from the iconic 1990's animated show are returning once more with a sequel series that will debut in 2024 - but before that fans can check out a prelude comic book tie-in series that will be launching in comic book shops this March!

As announced by Marvel Comics and written by Steve Foxe with art by Salva Espin and cover by Todd Nauck, "X-Men '97" will be a 4-part comic book storyline that will address what the team has been up to - with the likes of Storm, Wolverine, and Jubilee getting the spotlight and explaining the events that happened in between the old show and before the new one begins!

The first issue of X-Men '97 will hit comic shops on March 27, 2024.
