It's the end of another era of Spider-Man comics, as Nick Spencer concludes his 3 year run on The Amazing Spider-Man with "The Amazing Spider-Man #74", which is also ASM #875 in the legacy run numbering.

According to Newsarama and Marvel, the issue will be a milestone event - as it will be a whopping 80 pages and looks to set up Peter Parker's "next high-flying era" in comics as it will be an ending and beginning for the character under Spencer's tenure as writer.

Marvel reveals Spider-Man's "New Look", which debuts on Amazing Spider-Man #61

Just before the holidays end and we say goodbye to 2020, Marvel has officially unveiled the "new look" Peter Parker will sport in the pages of "The Amazing Spider-Man" next year - and it's a new white-blue costume with orange linings reminiscent of the "Big Time" suit, but with bright circular eyes and even shades of grey added to it.

Designed by Dustin Weaver with inputs by writer Nick Spencer and editor Nick Lowe, the new suit will debut on the pages of ASM #61, and features in the covers here for ASM #62 and 63. Why Peter chooses to suit up and make a change is not yet revealed, but we'll definitely find out soon enough when the issue releases next year. So far, the costume has drawn some mixed reactions, and looks more like another change to serve the narrative.

You can read up more about the new costume via Marvel.com.

Happy New Year and Stay Safe all!
