If you tuned in to the latest episode of Game Of Thrones this weekend, A LOT went down in terms of the stakes, consequences, and inevitable march towards the "Long Night" battle that the living and the dead will engage in - as Jon Snow, Daenerys Targaryen, and the rest of Westeros brace for the coming of the Night King and his army of wights and zombies.
Fortunately (or unfortunately for fans who want to see more), the season finale is also next week, meaning it's the last episode of Game Of Thrones we'll be seeing for a while... Until Season 8 comes when it's ready!
Game of Thrones: Season 7 Finale Preview
The Game Of Thrones Season 7 finale will air on August 27 on HBO.
Set to return in less than two months and preparing viewers for the "Great War" between the living and the dead that goes beyond the politics and battle for the Iron Throne, HBO has released the long awaited first proper trailer for "Game of Thrones" - featuring scenes from the upcoming seventh season that sees all the players of the show and then some as tension builds and events play out to their grand conclusion.

Also released and to promote the return of the series is Entertainment Weekly's set of covers and photos spotlighting the reunion of the Starks - aka Jon Snow, Sansa Stark, Arya Stark, and Bran Stark, who haven't been seen together as a family since the events of the first season. Below is a sample cover of Kit Harington as the newly crowned "King of the North", armored and ready for battle. You can check more via EW's feature.
As one of the most EPIC shows to be seen and witnessed in television to date, the penultimate episode of HBO's "Game of Thrones" proved without a shadow of a doubt that there is much to be said about creating a medieval fantasy battle that has the stakes on and lots of gruesome deaths as a result of it... "Battle of the Bastards" was that episode, and it showcased the long awaited confrontation between Jon Snow and his mix of free folk and loyal Stark bannermen against the forces of Ramsay Bolton and those who serve under him for the right to claim Winterfell and The North.
Let's just say that episode was "Lord of The Rings meets Saving Private Ryan meets 300", and you'll get the idea on how GRAND that episode was. Much thought and production was put into this episode, and it did not disappoint... Not one bit. You see things steadily on the rise as far as storylines go, and George R.R. Martin's epic world based on his "A Song of Ice and Fire" novels is moving ahead in the television department.
A look inside the episode gives more insight on how this eclipses what happened in last season's "Hardhome", which is directed by this episode's director, Miguel Sapochnik.
Now the world awaits how Season 6 will end. Come next week, the "Winds of Winter" will rise.
What would happen if you invited the Bastard Son of Ned Stark to dinner?
Well, leave it to Seth Meyers to take advantage of that possibility with this clip from the "Late Night with Seth Meyers" show, that sees Jon Snow invited to dinner...
