TMNT: The Last Ronin is Getting a AAA “God of War” Style Video Game Adaptation

 


One of the best Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles storylines from the past few years by original creators Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird is officially getting the video game treatment, as Polygon reports that “The Last Ronin” - the 2020 graphic novel series storyline that sees the last surviving turtle in a dystopian future out to avenge the death of his master and fallen brothers.

Announced by Paramount Global’s Senior Vice President for Games and Emerging Media Doug Rosen, the developer is still being kept under wraps - but the game is said to be a “AAA” title that draws heavily from the story and is inspired by action RPG’s like “God of War”. The Last Ronin of course is revealed to be Michaelangelo at the end of first issue of the storyline - and the tale is greatly influenced by “The Dark Knight Returns” in tome and style.

Shenmue 1 & 2 announced for PS4, Xbox One, and PC; Coming this 2018


One of the most requested video game sagas to be remastered and brought back has finally been confirmed, as Sega has confirmed that both Shenmue and Shenmue II are coming to Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC Steam sometime this year!

According to Polygon and Shenmue Dojo's reports, the game will be released both digitally and physically - retaining the Dreamcast aesthetics but having improved graphics and textures as of the remaster. Additionally, players can also choose between English and Japanese voices - and the game will retail for $29.99 when released.



A game truly ahead of its time and developed by legendary video game creator Yu Suzuki - the first Shenmue was originally released for the Sega Dreamcast, and its sequel was also for that system - yet only in European and Japanese territories (with English Subtitles over the Japanese dub for the former). The original Microsoft Xbox got the sequel with the American voices. With Shenmue III already in the works after a succesful kickstarting campaign - the time is right for this legendary masterpiece to make it's much deserved return in a remastered rerelease!

Marvel Vs Capcom Infinite: Story Trailer released


With just over a month to go before it gets released and hits consoles worldwide, Marvel and Capcom have released the full "Story Trailer" to their next new installment in the MvC series in "Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite" - which has both sides of the fan favorite franchises battling a new villain in Ultron Sigma as he plans to gather all the Infinity Stones for his own sinister needs, while Jedah leads the villains to create a symbiote beast.

In addition to the story trailer, the game's launch roster has also been revealed as well as the Online and Offline modes, which you can check out via Polygon.

Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite launches starting September 19 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
