Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker: Final Trailer and Official Poster released

The Skywalker Saga will finally come to an end, as Disney and Lucasfilm promote and tease with the release of the Final Trailer and Official Poster to "Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker" - also known as Episode IX and the final chapter of the "Sequel Trilogy" that began with 2015's "The Force Awakens" and continued with 2017's "The Last Jedi".


Here's the Final Trailer, which premiered online and during ESPN's Monday Night Football matchup.

R.I.P Kenny Baker - the man who played the beloved Star Wars droid R2-D2

The world mourns the loss of a true Star Wars legends, as Kenny Baker - the actor who played the lovable droid R2-D2  - has passed away at the age of 81 (story via Comic Book.com). No words can describe how much sadness the fans and peers of Baker are feeling - as this little guy who brought to life the smart droid who literally won hearts and helped save the day many times in the Star Wars universe was loved very much.

Star Wars X DC: Batman & R2-D2 & more Batman v Superman x Star Wars mash up pics

If The Dark Knight had to cross the long dessert landscape of Tatooine, he'd have a certain trusty droid by his side...

At least that's what Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice director Zack Snyder thinks when he tweeted this cute image of Batman walking side-by-side with Star Wars universe's own R2-D2, in the same sandy planet where Luke Skywalker was raised and grew up in. This is the third image that mashes up DC's iconic heroes with a galaxy far, far away, as Snyder also shot a photo of Henry Cavill as Superman, only wearing a Jedi robe and brandishing a Sith lightsaber!

One has to wonder... What the heck is going on here? Even Star Wars Episode VII star John Boyega was seen wearing a Batsuit, and director J.J. Abrams tweeted it and was also spotlighted in Comic Book.com.

This is probably Snyder and Abrams poking fun at one another, and the fans are loving it.XD
