Michael Bay's Transformers saga recapped in 3 Minutes by Vulture

Transformers: Age of Extinction has officially opened in theaters worldwide, and it continues the saga Michael Bay started in 2007 that brings Hasbro's Robots in Disguise into the big screen. This new chapter focuses on a very different set of human allies and enemies, but still features Optimus Prime and his heroic Autobots battling the evil Decepticons with the fate of Earth hanging in the balance.

However, if you haven't had a chance to catch up with the first three films of the Bayformers series, then Vulture (via Slash Film) has got you covered with the recap video that explains everything in just three minutes. Give it a go if you need a refresher before seeing the new film in 2D or 3D.

Transformers: Age of Extinction: New TV Spot may confirm a BIG villain...

A brand new TV Spot for Michael Bay's next installment in his Transformers film series hints at the possibility that we may see one BIG Transformer villain making his appearance in the big screen... And that may be UNICRON.

As shared by a report by Comic Book Movie, the Chaos Bringer and ancient Transformer is speculated to be in the new film "Transformers: Age of Extinction", judging from the massive structure that Decepticon Lockdown and his compatriots are standing in. It could be farfetched and just a ship, but nevertheless an interesting theory if true... And it's just a few days until the movie hits theaters.

Transformers: Age of Extinction opens in theaters in the RP on June 25, and in the US on June 27.

Transformers: Age of Extinction: Four new viral posters online

In line with the upcoming release of Michael Bay's latest film based on Hasbro's beloved Robots In Disguise franchise, four new viral posters have been released promoting an "Anti-Transformer" campaign that affects both Autobots and Decepticons alike in the new Transformers movies sequel, Transformers: Age of Extinction.

Set four years after the events of Transformers: Dark of the Moon, the film sees Mark Wahlberg as the new human lead, who happens to come across a dormant Optimus Prime. After awakening the ancient Autobot, Prime is now forced to gather his fellow warriors once more, as an ancient Decepticon force prepares to hit Earth. With humanity no longer their allies and the stakes even higher, the Autobots must truly question whether the age of Transformers on Earth is over or not.

Transformers: Age of Extinction: New poster featuring Mark Wahlberg and Nicola Peltz running for dear life...

Making headway on the promotion campaign and releasing more posters to promote the movie, Paramount Pictures and Hasbro have unveiled a new one sheet teaser promoting Michael Bay's fourth film in the Transformers movie franchise with "Transformers: Age of Extinction".

The new poster, as shown in ComicBook.com, features Mark Wahlberg and Nicola Peltz as father and daughter Cade and Tessa Yeager, running away from their home... Which is about to be invaded by a HUGE Decepticon ship. One can only surmise that things are "Not Going Well" in this shot, and when the movie opens later in the middle of this year, we'll find out what the damage is.

Michael Bay IS coming back to direct Transformers 4

Call it what you will, but the guy who brought the robots in disguise to the big screen (with lots of explosions and babes) is coming back for a fourth installment.

Via MTV News and Comic Book Movie, it has been learned in an MTV News interview with producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura that director Michael Bay will indeed be returning to direct a fourth Transformers film. It won't be a straightforward sequel, but a "reboot" of sorts, and the producer goes to call it an "evolution" of the film series instead of starting the process all over again.

Collider has also noted the story, and here's the official press release of the film, as released and confirmed by Paramount. It also features details on Bay's other new movie "Pain and Gain", which stars Mark Wahlberg and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.
