You know him as Karl Urban - aka Eomer from The Lord Of The Rings films, Dr. Leonard "Bones" McCoy from J.J Abrams' Star Trek films, and Judge Dredd himself from the 2012 reboot flick "Dredd". The man has proven to be tough as nails as an action hero, and can be a pretty convincing Bones in the Trek films with his perfect demeanor and attitude ala the late DeForrest Kelley.
Now imagine Karl Urban reteaming with his Star Trek and Star Trek Into Darkness director, this time in the small screen for an upcoming 2013-2014 series on FOX TV developed by J.H. Wyman and J.J. Abrams - Almost Human.
The trailer alone should clue you on how this is going to turn out.
Think Lethal Weapon meets I, Robot meets Knight Rider meets Demolition Man meets The Six Million Dollar Man, and you've got a heck of a Sci-Fi Action show right here! It even has shades of Abrams in it, with action and comedic moments ala Star Trek inserted to this show, and it's Bones McCoy being the hard bad ass lead with a robotic sidekick with human traits!
