With just a few months to go before it finally arrives in theaters, Warner Bros. Pictures has released a brand new trailer for "Mortal Kombat II" - the follow-up to the 2021 Mortal Kombat Movie reboot and one that introduces more fan favorites including Karl Urban playing an older yet still ass-kicking version of Johnny Cage!

Almost Human: J.J. Abrams puts Karl Urban in a human & robot buddy cop TV Series

You know him as Karl Urban - aka Eomer from The Lord Of The Rings films, Dr. Leonard "Bones" McCoy from J.J Abrams' Star Trek films, and Judge Dredd himself from the 2012 reboot flick "Dredd". The man has proven to be tough as nails as an action hero, and can be a pretty convincing Bones in the Trek films with his perfect demeanor and attitude ala the late DeForrest Kelley.

Now imagine Karl Urban reteaming with his Star Trek and Star Trek Into Darkness director, this time in the small screen for an upcoming 2013-2014 series on FOX TV developed by J.H. Wyman and J.J. Abrams - Almost Human.

The trailer alone should clue you on how this is going to turn out.

Dredd 3D: New banner poster released

Via Collider and Superherohype, Lionsgate has released a new banner poster for the upcoming Judge Dredd reboot flick "Dredd". Based on the 2000 AD comic book character of the same name, Karl Urban takes up the mantle of the futuristic cop who is judge, jury, and executioner all rolled into one, and the new banner shows a spray paint of Dredd's iconic visage/ helmet pattern. Yahoo! Movies has unveiled the brand new theatrical poster for the upcoming Judge Dredd reboot movie "Dredd", with the new one sheet promoting the 3D in "Dredd 3D"! Starring Karl Urban in the titular role, the new film based on the 2000 AD comic book character sees the lawman back to pursue justice, with Olivia Thirlby and Lena Headey costarring. Released online and via Twitter and Comic Book Movie, here's a first look at the new teaser poster to Lionsgate's upcoming Judge Dredd movie reboot "Dredd", which stars Karl Urban (Dr. McCoy in the Star Trek reboot films) in the titular role. Directed by Pete Travis, the movie also stars Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister in Game of Thrones), and is set in a post-apocalyptic future where cops are judge, jury, and executioner, with Dredd serving as one of the enforcers of the law to fight all the corruption and menaces plaguing the innocent.
