Following up on updates and building up to Hugh Jackman's return as Logan in "The Wolverine", director James Mangold has tweeted the latest picture from behind-the-scenes of the set of the film, featuring Wolverine clashing with Shingen Yashida of the infamous Yashida clan, as played by Japanese actor Hiroyuki Sanada of "The Ring" Japanese films and "The Last Samurai" fame!
Based on the classic Chris Claremont and Frank Miller Wolverine miniseries, The Wolverine is set after the events of X-Men: The Last Stand, and sees Logan travelling to Japan to fight new deadly foes and learn the ways of The Samurai while struggling to cope with his own immortality and purpose. Besides encountering ninjas, samurai, and the Yashida Clan, Wolverine will also face Viper and The Silver Samurai. The film puts Jackman back in his iconic role, and is directed by James Mangold.
