The Walking Dead: New webisodes series "The Oath" coming on October 1st

Preparing for its long awaited return to TV come October, AMC has something new and exciting coming sooner to tide fans over for the upcoming 4th season of "The Walking Dead". Continuing the tradition started prior to the debut of the past two seasons, a brand new, three-part webisode series entitled "The Oath" is slated to appear on AMC's official YouTube channel come Sunday, October 1st, and will tell the story of another group of individuals affected by the zombie outbreak one way or the other.

Produced and directed by zombie movie veteran and make-up artist Greg Nicotero, The Oath stars Paul (Wyatt Russell) and Karina (Ashley Bell), two lone survivors who are desperately searching for medical help after one of them gets critically injured. They soon come across a hospital and a doctor (Ellen Greene) that may guarantee their salvation and aid, but not everything is what it seems...

Much like "Torn Apart" for Season 2 and "Cold Storage" for Season 3, The Oath is a web exclusive miniseries that Walking Dead fans may want to catch before coming back on October 13 for Season 4. For more information, visit the source post at the official AMC Walking Dead webpage.
