The Walking Dead is now on its eleventh and final season, which is set to return this coming February to finish off the second half of episodes. Norman Reedus, who plays main character and survivor Daryl Dixon in the series, has shared a little behind-the-scenes photo of what could have gone down in the series had things turned out differently - he would have gotten a prosthetic arm because he punched Negan and that would have been due to Rick Grimes being forced to cut it off by the leader of the Saviours.

As one of the longest running TV Shows of the modern age, The Walking Dead has survived well beyond its original comic book source material and has grown to a multimedia franchise that includes not one but now TWO spin-offs - Fear The Walking Dead and the upcoming "The Walking Dead: World Beyond". Envisioned as a two season limited event that follows the new generation of survivors born after the zombie apocalypse, that show was originally scheduled to premiere on AMC on April 12 - but due to the corona virus pandemic that has hit the globe, the network has made the wise decision to delay this new series to some time later this year.
As AMC continues to air "The Walking Dead" and its first spin-off series "Fear The Walking Dead" without any end yet on sight, a SECOND spin-off show will be coming next year from AMC - promising to show "A New World" where the first generation of children growing up amidst the zombie apocalypse will be the focus.
The Walking Dead New Series Teaser Trailer 'A New World'
“What if you grew up in a world of safety? And you decided to leave. To discover the truth of who you are and what the world really is. You know. Growing up. There have been things going on in The Walking Dead universe since the very start of the story, all happening over all these years. In other places we haven’t seen. With people we haven’t seen. With the dead we haven’t seen. But we’ll see it all this spring.”
The new "The Walking Dead" spin-off series debut on Spring 2020.
The Walking Dead has been many things since it premiered in 2010 and adapted the comic book series of the same name (which recently concluded) written by Robert Kirkman and drawn by Tony Moore and Charlie Adlard. Initially telling the story of a Sheriff's Deputy named Rick Grimes who searches for his family and eventually comes to lead a group of survivors amidst a zombie apocalypse, nine seasons have seen characters come and go as well as new locations and adversities explored beyond that of the undead.
At this year's San Diego Comic-Con, the cast and crew of AMC's The Walking Dead returned with some more news for their two shows "The Walking Dead" and spin-off "Fear The Walking Dead", as well as updates on the "Rick Grimes" focuses movies and a new untitled Spin-Off show. Last year's Season 9 also saw the departure of series lead Andrew Lincoln, who plays Rick Grimes and will eventually return in a trilogy of films set for release in the near future - which was teased with a trailer.

Tekken 7 - Season Pass 2 : Julia Chang And Negan Trailer | PS4
Fans of AMC's The Walking Dead best be prepared to say goodbye to another mainstay series regular, as The Hollywood Reporter has reported that Danai Gurira - who has played the badass sword wielding survivor Michonne - will be exiting the series come Season 10 of the critically acclaimed zombie drama series.
After debuting in Season 3 of the show and eventually becoming the love interest of Rick Grimes, Gurira has signed on to appear on a limited capacity in the show similar to her fellow co-star and Rick actor Andrew Lincoln - who recently left the series as a regular and will star in a trilogy of "Rick Grimes" movies for AMC. Vastly different from its comic book counterpart, The Walking Dead is now a show following the main thrust of the storyline of a group of survivors struggling to rebuild in a world dominated by the undead - yet now without Rick, Carl, and soon Michonne as well. Original character Daryl Dixon - played by Norman Reedus - serves as the new face of the ongoing series.
The Walking Dead resumes its ninth season this February 10th on AMC.
In what certainly got a lot of Tekken fans hyped and ready for what's coming next this "Season 2", Tekken Producer Katsuhiro Harada revealed during the "Tekken World Finals" in Amsterdam not one or two, but the THREE new characters from the missing roster of "Season 2 DLC Fighters" that will be coming to Tekken 7! Craig Marduk, Armor King, and Julia Chang all return, and the first reveal of The Walking Dead's Negan as a fighter is here!
A new era begins in this coming new episode of AMC's "The Walking Dead", as the remaining members of Rick Grimes' group - his closest confidents and allies - try to move on and get on with their lives. As it is, the show has progressed to a "Time Skip" that takes place six years following Rick's "death", and the first few minutes of the new episode "Who Are You Now?" have come online - showing Daryl, Michonne, and Carol living on.
It's the end of an era for fans of "The Walking Dead", as Andrew Lincoln ended his tenure in the series as series' lead character Rick Grimes with this past Sunday's episode "What Comes After" - which also marked the last episode of Lauren Cohan/ Maggie Greene and Pollyanna McIntosh/ Anne for this season. It was both bittersweet and sad to see "Officer Friendly" exit the series - but Lincoln himself announced that he was going to focus more on family life and decided to depart the series that helped make him a household name on a high note.
However if you watched the episode, you'd realize that wouldn't be the true last appearance of Lincoln as Grimes. Perhaps in a move that will be easier than handling a TV Series schedule, a trilogy of "Rick Grimes" films have been announced by AMC according to a report by Deadline, signifying "The End of the Beginning" according to Lincoln himself in the "Talking Dead" episode after his final TV Series appearance. What happens next is anyone's guess... But it's clear now we haven't seen the last of Rick.
The Walking Dead currently airs its ninth season on AMC.
Nothing lasts forever indeed, and during the San Diego Comic-Con panel for AMC's "The Walking Dead", series main cast member and Rick Grimes actor Andrew Lincoln confirmed that the upcoming ninth season would be his last playing the former Sheriff's Deputy turned zombie apocalypse survivor and leader to a new generation of humanity rebuilding from the ashes. In the TV Series, Grimes is fulfilling the wishes of his late son Carl, who was killed off last season due to the departure of actor Chandler Riggs from the show.
Now time-skipping to a point after the events of "All-Out War" - the communities of Alexandria, The Sanctuary, The Kingdom, and The Hilltop struggle to co-exist and survive under the leadership of Rick and his allies - but it's easier said than done as the SDCC' 18 trailer shows that there are inner conflicts and demons that still need to be confronted by the survivors, as well as a new threat besides the living dead.

The Walking Dead Season 9 begins this October 7 on AMC.
Ahead of its much anticipated San Diego Comic Con panel discussion and the first bits of information for the upcoming new season, AMC has released the first key art promotional poster for "The Walking Dead" - which returns for its 9th Season on October. The beginning of "A New World" following the events of "All Out War", Rick Grimes, his allies, and the unified communities are rebuilding in the wake of their victory against Negan and The Saviours. However, there is new challenges to face as well as unpredictable scenarios to encounter as the survivors continue to live out their lives in a world filled with the living dead.
Also, AMC has released the poster promoting the second half of "Fear The Walking Dead" - which has Morgan Jones along with the cast of the spin-off series all decked out for their return this August. For more details, visit the official Walking Dead Facebook page.
Looks like The Walking Dead fans have something big to look forward to if a report from a Entertainment Weekly is to be believed, as series veteran and the long deceased Shane Walsh actor Jon Bernthal is set to reprise his iconic role sometime in Season 9 - reuniting with his best friend Rick Grimes (played by Andrew Lincoln) and the other remaining survivors who knew him that are still around in the show.
While Shane died in Season 2, that didn’t stop Bernthal from reprising the role as a hallucination that Rick sees (and shoots) during Season 3. With Andrew Lincoln looking to exit the show after Season 9, this will be the perfect reunion and swan song between the two pals who started as the first characters to be seen together when the hit AMC zombie show started back in 2010. The Walking Dead returns to AMC with Season 9 this October.

The Walking Dead: The Final Season hits PS4, Xbox One, and PC on August 14, with a Nintendo Switch version coming out later this year.
It looks like The Walking Dead will bid farewell to its main honcho and lead character in some way or form soon, as The Hollywood Reporter reports that Andrew Lincoln - who plays former Sheriff's Deputy and zombie apocalypse survivor Rick Grimes in the series, is exiting the popular AMC series come the end of the show's ninth season. According to the report, Lincoln is going to be phased out and will be ending his run in the show similar to co-star Lauren Cohan, who plays Maggie Greene and will only be appearing in six episodes of the next season. As a trade off, the network is looking to put the focus on Daryl Dixon, played by co-star Norman Reedus who is negotiating a higher deal that will see bigger pay and the focus of the show on the crossbow wielding redneck tracker who is Rick's best friend and right hand man.
The Walking Dead Season 9 is set to premiere sometime on October this year.
