DC Comics prepares to unlease a Zombie Apocalype in DCeased #1 this May
Following the footsteps of Robert Kirkman's zombie apocalypse treatment of the Marvel Universe in "Marvel Zombies" and even his critically acclaimed title "The Walking Dead", the DC Universe is about to be infested by hordes of the undead and even the superheroes are unable to deal with it effectively. That's where Tom Taylor and Trevor Hairsine come in for "DCeased" - a six issue miniseries that begins in May.
As detailed in IGN, DCeased will see a zombie plague that was originally developed by Darkseid go out of control - spreading to the DC Universe as we know it and catching a lot of the heroes, including Batman, off guard. What follows will be anyone's guess... But even The Dark Knight himself may be infected by this virus. Will his mind be able to battle this? We'll find out on May 1st.

Peter David and Greg Land team up for Symbiote Spider-Man miniseries starting April
Fans of Spider-Man's iconic black suit costume, specifically the Symbiote that eventually becomes Venom, will be happy to know that Marvel is revisiting that period when the wallcrawler used it as his default outfit - as Newsarama details that legendary writer Peter David will team up with artist Greg Land in the aptly titled "Symbiote Spider-Man" - a five issue miniseries that begins this April and sees Spidey with the alien costume he got from the "Secret Wars" facing off against a classic villain who has not fought him in that attire - the master of illusions himself, Mysterio!
Evidently the choice of villain is timely, as Mysterio will be played by actor Jake Gyllenhaal in the upcoming Spider-Man film "Spider-Man: Far From Home" this July!
Symbiote Spider-Man #1 hits comic book shops this April!
