In less than a month, we'll finally return to Eternia and see what's become of its heroes and residents - as Masters of the Universe: Revelation picks up from the cliffhanger we saw where Skeletor gained the Power of Grayskull and became the almighty Skele-God. With Teela and the surviving Masters at a loss, the fate of newly resurrected Prince Adam also hangs by a thread as he was stabbed by Skeletor when he took the Power Sword. Now hope is all but lost... And now the story will continue with Part 2 and the surprises it has in store for us.

That means we're going to pick up where we left off in the cliffhanger where Skeletor became Skele-God and what will become of Adam, Teela, and the rest of Eternia!

One of the most anticipated animated show revivals is nigh, as Kevin Smith's long awaited Masters of the Universe: Revelation series on Netflix FINALLY has a release date - and it will be streaming starting this July 23! Entertainment has a first look and some details for the upcoming animated series - and it looks very much like a combination of the classic Filmation series along with the 200X cartoon by Mike Young Productions!

Powerhouse Animation is bringing this sequel to the original 80's He-Man and the Masters of the Universe cartoon to life with Chris Wood voicing the lead as He-Man/ Prince Adam, and he is joined by seasoned veterans like Mark Hamill as Skeletor, Lena Headey as Evil Lyn, Sarah Michelle Geller as Teela, and Kevin Conroy as Mer-Man! Via Newsarama and Deadline, it's been confirmed that Batman: The Animated Series voice actors Mark Hamill and Kevin Conroy will be joining the cast - as Skeletor and Merman respectively! Supergirl's Chris Wood will be He-Man, while Buffy The Vampire Slayer star Sarah Michelle Gellar will be Teela! Fans of Mattel's iconic "Masters of the Universe" toyline and series will be up in arms in excitement over the news delivered by Netflix, as the streaming service has announced that a brand new "He-Man and the Masters of the Universe" CGI animated series is coming -  and it's separate from the one Kevin Smith is developing too (Masters of the Universe Revelations). While no other info has been given other than the announcement (which you can read on Nerdist), this is GREAT NEWS for fans of He-Man, Skeletor, Eternia and beyond.

Throwback Thursday: He-Man and the Masters of the Universe Indie game looks POWERFUL

Since it falls on a Throwback Thursday, this is POWERFUL to the eye!

I grew up watching the original Filmation and Mattel's "He-Man and the Masters of the Universe" cartoon series, and while it certainly has its chops and hooky animated moments, it is regarded as one of the classics that defined a generation of toys and viewers who remember a universe with magic and myth where the battle between good and evil was waged on a planet called Eternia.

Now, some indie game developers have made what is certainly a SURPRISING marriage of that classic series with a side-scroller game system akin to Final Fight and Golden Axe. Kotaku has posted this amazing article which showcases this amazing He-Man game, that features not only the "Most Powerful Man in the Universe" as a playable character, but also the likes of Man-At-Arms, Teela, Orko, She-Ra, and even guest star Lion-O from the Thundercats?!

DC preps up a new He-Man and The Masters of the Universe comic series!

Exciting news for He-Man and MOTU fans comes underway, as MTV Geek reports that DC Comics is releasing a new miniseries for "He-Man and the Masters of the Universe"! As posted by Comic Book Movie, the new miniseries will be comprised of six issues, and will focus on an alternate reality where Eternia is ruled by Skeletor and there was no He-Man or other heroes to stop him. Instead, Adam and his friends are mere peasants dreaming of a better world... Until a sorceress comes and changes their destinies forever!
