The Penguin: Max Sets September Date and Releases New Trailer for The Batman Spin-Off Series

 


The world of Matt Reeves “The Batman” expands as the very first spin-off TV series set right after the events of that 3 hour superhero epic!

Returning to his iconic gangster role, Colin Farrell steps back into the role of “The Penguin” in his own Max series which explores Oz as he emerges out of the deceased Carmine Falcone’s shadow and makes his play to take out the remnants of the crime family and organization and become what he was born to be - his own boss and face of Gotham City.

Like A Dragon: Yakuza Announced, New Series Coming to Prime Video This October


The world of Like A Dragon/ Ryu Ga Gotoku expands anew to the world of live-action, as Amazon MGM Studios, Prime Video, SEGA, and RGG Studios have officially announced “Like A Dragon: Yakuza” - a brand new series that features Kamen Rider Drive actor Ryoma Takeuchi in the lead as he takes on the lead role of fan favorite character and longtime series lead Kazuma Kiryu - aka the Dragon of Dojima!🐉

Batman: Caped Crusader: Entertainment Weekly Released First Look Images, Series Premieres on August 1 on Prime Video

 


One of the most anticipated new animated series projects by DC and Amazon Prime is “Batman: Caped Crusader” - a new 40’s style noir reinterpretation of the Dark Knight and his world that comes from the mind of “Batman: The Animated Series” creator Bruce Timm and is co-produced by J.J Abrams and “The Batman” director Matt Reeves!







Arriving on Prime Video on August 1, the project finally gets some new screenshots giving fans a first look at the series - with Batman and Bruce Wayne seen of course as well as new reinterpretations of Catwoman, Clayface, and fan favorite Harley Quinn - who is an Asian American villain in this brand new series.

Fallout on Prime Releases New Trailer and Poster

 


In just over a month, Amazon Prime Video will be releasing one of the most anticipated TV shows based on the popular video game franchise by Bethesda Softworks, as "Fallout" makes its premiere on the streaming service starting this April - and we have a new poster and trailer to commemorate that long awaited live-action series adaptation!

Here's the trailer below, and it has a very familiar song that fans of the Bethesda games will recognize.

Avatar: The Last Airbender Officially Renewed for Season 2 and 3 on Netflix

 


It's official - Aang and the gang are coming back and getting renewed for a second and third season!

As announced by Netflix just moments ago, "Avatar: The Last Airbender" is coming back for Season 2 and 3 - meaning that the live-action series based on the fan-favorite Nickelodeon animated series will continue its adaptation and story following the 8 episode first season's success after premiering on February 22! Starring Gordon Cormier, Kiawentiio, Dallas Liu, Daniel Day Kim, and more, the series follows the story of 12-year old Aang, the "Avatar" who is the bridge between the mortal and spirit realms and who journeys together with his friends to prevent the Fire Nation for starting all-out war in the world.

Avatar: The Last Airbender is now streaming on Netflix.

Sonic Spin-Off Series “Knuckles” Gets First Trailer and Poster!

It’s time for a revolution as far as the future of Eternia is concerned, as He-Man, Skeletor, and the forces of good and evil converge for a new battle that sees new forms, new foes, and changes at work with Kevin Smith’s follow-up series “Masters of the Universe: Revolution” - which is set to hit Netflix on January 25.

Marvel’s Echo Releases New Promo For Next Week’s Premiere on Disney + and Hulu

 


Set to start off the new set of offerings they have for the year 2024, Marvel Studios has released a couple of new promos for “Echo” - which spins off the events of “Hawkeye” and “Daredevil” and sees Maya Lopez headlining her own series!


The show will also feature the return of The Kingpin as well as The Man Without Fear himself, and showcases a more serious tone than most MCU Disney + shows have been in the past (which is absolutely a good thing).

Marvel’s Echo premieres on January 10 on Hulu and Disney +.

First “Fallout” TV Series Photos Released



 

War… War Never Changes.

That line is and will forever be associated with the Fallout franchise - the critically acclaimed role-playing game series that sees players take on the role of survivors exploring the wasteland in a future that is filled with brotherhoods of steel, heavy machinery and robots, and mutated ghouls and creatures all born out of a nuclear war that ravaged the world many years ago.

Now, Vanity Fair is giving the world its first look at the upcoming television series adaptation that is set to premiere on April next year - and it looks absolutely gorgeous. Developed by Westworld creators Jonathan Nolan and his wife Lisa Joy, the series will follow a Vault dweller named Lucy - who emerges out of her underground sanctuary to a world that is filled with retro futuristic aesthetic and untold mysteries to explore.



We can expect the first trailer to be released pretty soon from the screenshots released!

Fallout will premiere on Prime Video on April 12, 2024.

Marvel's Echo: First Trailer and Poster Released

 


Spinning out of the events of "Hawkeye" (and to a certain extent even Netflix's "Daredevil" series), Marvel Studios and Disney have finally unveiled the long awaited poster and trailer for "Echo" - the new MCU Disney +/ Hulu series that will focus on Alaqua Cox's Maya Lopez as she returns to her hometown in Oklahoma and reconnects with her roots... And her connection and relationship to her adoptive uncle Wilson Fisk aka the Kingpin.

Beuce Lee Anine Series “House of Lee” Announced, Coming in 2024

 


One of the most iconic martial artists and actors who ever lived is being honored with his very first anime series! In celebration of the 50th anniversary of “Enter The Dragon”, the legendary Bruce Lee will be immortalized in “House of Lee” - a Japanese Anime that will feature the Dragon and founder of the martial arts style “Jeet Kune Do” as he assembles a group of Dragon Warriors before the world falls into darkness and shadow.


As reported by Deadline, the project spearheaded by the late martial artist’s own daughter Shannon as well as the Bruce Lee Entertainment group - the series is expected to hit some time in 2024. It’s a fitting testament and tribute to Lee - as his fighting style, philosophy, and character have inspired several anime like Fist of the North Star and Cowboy Bebop - and now the man himself gets his own. A teaser trailer has been released (which you can view above) and will also be debuting in select theaters playing “Enter The Dragon” to honor that film’s 50th anniversary since its release in 1973.

The Penguin "In-Production Teaser" Released by Warner Bros. Discovery and Max

 


Set to be released in 2024 as the next chapter in Matt Reeves' world of "The Batman", Warner Bros. Discovery, DC, and the newly named "Max" streaming service have released the very first look at "The Penguin" - the spin-off TV series with Colin Farrell reprising his role as Oswald Cobblepot/ Penguin and set some time after the events of the epic 2022 detective noir superhero movie.

Check out the in-production featurette below showing some behind the scenes filming and scenes with Farell back as Oz - who is working his way to the top of the criminal underworld after the demise of his former employer, mob boss Carmine Falcone.

Jon Bernthal Returns as The Punisher for Marvel's Daredevil: Born Again

 


Looks like fans of the Marvel Netflix shows who have wanted to see the return of another familiar face from that universe and be integrated to the proper Marvel Cinematic Universe are getting their wish - as The Hollywood Reporter has delivered the news that Jon Bernthal is returning to his iconic role as Frank Castle/ The Punisher for “Daredevil: Born Again”!

First appearing as the gun-totting vigilante in the second season of Marvel’s Daredevil and then getting two seasons of his own spin-off series, Bernthal will be reuniting with Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock/ Daredevil and Vincent D’Onofrio’s Wilson Fisk/ Kingpin in the new Daredevil series - which is set to be released on Spring 2024 on Disney +. No other details have been released yet, but we can be sure this is just the beginning of exciting things to come and a reintegration of the Netflix Marvel shows into the MCU!
