James Bond: Christoph Waltz not returning for "Bond 25"

Fans looking forward to the next James Bond film in a few years will have to contend with the fact that the villain from the last film won't be returning, as Comic Book Movie reports that Christoph Waltz won't be reprising his role as Ernst Stavro Blofeld in the as of yet untitled "Bond 25" due in 2019..

"I’m really sad, but that’s the tradition, that there is a new…name. Sorry, but I would’ve liked to."

Whether he's just feigning or it's true, we won't know until production for the film begins and hints about the plot surface. For now, it looks like Blofeld isn't going to come back and terrorize Bond's personal affairs this time around.

Bond 25 is scheduled for a November 8, 2019 release.

Farewell to a Bond: Sir Roger Moore passes away at 89

The world and James Bond fans everywhere are united in mourning, as BBC news reports that the legendary Sir Roger Moore has passed away at the age of 89 after "a short but brave battle with cancer" according to his family. As the third man to step into the shoes of the famous British secret service agent, Moore took over for Connery in 1972 and made his first appearance in the role in "Live and Let Die". Following that he starred in six more Bond films that includes "The Man with a Golden Gun", "The Spy Who Loved Me" and "Moonraker", and is the longest serving Bond in film to date. Moore retired from the role after 1985's "A View To A Kill", and was succeeded by Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan, and the current Bond to date Daniel Craig.

Carly Simon- Nobody Does It Better

As someone who personally grew up watching Moore before getting to know Sean Connery, this is truly devastating news for fans. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Sir Roger Moore's family and friends. Leaving a tribute with "Nobody Does It Better" - the opening to "The Spy Who Loved Me", as sung by Carly Simon.

May you rest in peace, 007.
