Wonder Woman 1984: First Look/ Opening Scene Released

 


Following the virtual red carpet world premiere event held to welcome the long awaited return of Diana of Themyscira in a new adventure set in the 1980's, Warner Bros. and DC Films have released a first look at the full opening scene for "Wonder Woman 1984" - which once again stars Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman and Chris Pine as the resurrected Steve Trevor, as they deal with two new adversaries in Maxwell Lord and Cheetah.

Daniel Craig prepares for his final 007 mission in new "No Time To Die" trailer

 


After being delayed from its original April 2020 due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic happening across the globe, MGM, Eon Productions, and Universal Pictures are ready to bring Daniel Craig's final outing as James Bond to the big screen with "No Time To Die" - the 25th entry in the long running 007 film franchise and Craig's fifth film as Bond since he started with 2006's "Casino Royale". As a continuation of the events following 2015's "Spectre", Bond is living comfortably in retirement alongside Madeleine Swann (Lea Seydoux)... Until he is called back into action to face a new enemy in the mysterious Safin (Rami Malek).

After teasing the release of a new teaser with a brand new theatrical poster a few days ago, here is the new "No Time To Die" trailer:

The New Mutants: Final poster and "Smile" clip released


Set to be released in selected theaters at long last after years of delays and reshuffles, Josh Boone's "The New Mutants" will forge ahead with its opening in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic - as cinemas in the US enforcing strict social distancing protocols finally welcome the long overdue X-Men Movies spin-off film. To promote that, a new "Final Poster" and "Smile" clip have been released (as posted in Comic Book Resources), showing the cast all lined up together and a scene from the film.

Warner Bros. unleashes the "Final Trailer" for Christopher Nolan's "Tenet"


As early reviews and thoughts for the film make their way online, Warner Bros. Pictures brings out what is billed as the "Final Trailer" for Christopher Nolan's hotly anticipated action spy flick "Tenet" - which is slated for an international release beginning at the end of the month but is dependent on the circumstances brought about by the ongoing Coronavirus Pandemic.

Check out the first trailer for Kenneth Branagh's "Death on the Nile"


Set as a follow-up to 2017's Murder on the Orient Express, director and actor Kenneth Branagh once again returns to helm and play the part of fictional Belgian detective Hercule Poirot - as he investigates a new case and murder in the film "Death on the Nile" - adapted from Agatha Christie's novel of the same name and which features a star studded cast that includes Gal Gadot, Tom Bateman, Annette Bening, Armie Hammer, Rose Leslie, and Russell Brand.

Tenet: New International Posters remind us that Christopher Nolan's next epic is still hitting cinemas soon


Despite the delays brought about the current global pandemic situation, Warner Bros. and Christopher Nolan are still intent on bringing the director's next epic "Tenet" to cinemas soon - and there's no better way to promote the film further than releasing a good number of international posters featuring the cast and stars of the movie!


Headlined by John David Washington and also starring Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, and Kenneth Branagh, the movie sees an operative who is on a mission to prevent World War III - while also featuring elements that seemingly defy the laws of reality as well.

ICYMI: Batman: Death In The Family interactive movie hits this October


Taking a different spin in their next DC Showcase Animated offering,  Warner Bros. Animation and DC Entertainment are set to release “Batman: Death In The Family” - based on the 1988 Batman storyline of the same name where Jason Todd is killed by The Joker. Unlike any of the other DC Universe Original Movies released - this will be an interactive experience where viewers can choose what happens to the characters - literally deciding Jason’s fate and seeing what awaits in the branching arcs that have consequences accompanying them.



To be released in Digital HD and Blu-Ray, Death In The Family will also feature the return of “Batman: Under The Red Hood” voice actors Bruce Greenwood, Vincent Martella, and John DiMaggio as the voices of Batman, Robin/ Jason Todd, and The Joker respectively - incorporating footage from that film as well as new scenes exclusive to this interactive movie. Black Widow: New promotional art appears online for the upcoming MCU film


It’s been topsy turvy for the movie industry as far as release dates go for upcoming movies, and that includes tentpoles and blockbusters like the “Black Widow” solo film that finally gives actress Scarlett Johansson her own MCU solo outing as Natasha Romanoff set after the events of “Captain America: Civil War”. Marvel Studios’ first movie of “Phase 4” has been delayed however due to the ongoing pandemic happening worldwide, and its fall release window is still not a guarantee to happen. However, that doesn’t mean that the promotional stuff has taken time off, and some new promo artwork has been spotted online via Twitter as reported by Comic Book.com.

Black Widow is still scheduled for a November 2020 release.

Actress and Hollywood star Charlize Theron is no stranger to action - and she is going to draw her guns and fight in a superhero type capacity once more as she plays the immortal mercenary named “Andy”, aka Andromache of Scythia in Netflix’s upcoming new film “The Old Guard” - which is based on the graphic novel of the same name by Greg Rucka.

ICYMI: New "Tenet" trailer showcases more of Christopher Nolan's upcoming epic sci-fi action thriller


It seems like a long time since we've seen new footage of Christopher Nolan's upcoming new sci-fi action thriller "Tenet", but all that changed when a new trailer made its way online after debuting on Fortnite - showing everyone what we can expect from the John David Washington and Robert Pattinson led flick that is set to be released on July in the US (but that could change depending on the situation brought about by the global pandemic we all face).

Here's the new trailer. It fleshes out the story quite a bit, but as always expect the unexpected when it comes to Nolan's films.



Tenet will be coming to theaters. Watch out for it in traditional and IMAX theaters.

First Look: Check out Charlize Theron in Netflix's adaptation of "The Old Guard"


Charlize Theron is ready to take on another action role - this time in Netflix's adaptation of  Greg Rucka and Leandro Fernandez's comic book/ graphic novel "The Old Guard", and the streaming service has provided a first look at the actress as Andromache of Scythia, aka "Andy".


The plot synopsis goes like this:

 Led by a warrior named Andy (Charlize Theron), a covert group of tight-knit mercenaries with a mysterious inability to die have fought to protect the mortal world for centuries. But when the team is recruited to take on an emergency mission and their extraordinary abilities are suddenly exposed, it’s up to Andy and Nile (Kiki Layne), the newest soldier to join their ranks, to help the group eliminate the threat of those who seek to replicate and monetize their power by any means necessary. Based on the acclaimed graphic novel by Greg Rucka and directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood (LOVE & BASKETBALL, BEYOND THE LIGHTS), THE OLD GUARD is a gritty, grounded, action-packed story that shows living forever is harder than it looks.

Directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood, "The Old Guard" premieres on Netflix on July 10.

Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway's Flash launches on July 23 in Japan


Set exactly twelve years after the events of Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack, the Universal Century will finally get another continuation installment that was previously told in Novel form, as Bandai and Sunrise gear up for "Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway's Flash" - which centers on Bright Noa's estranged and rebellious son Hathaway as he leads a terrorist group called "Mafty" as it seeks to stop the Earth Federation from privatizing the planet for the privileged.

Tenet: Five new stills released for the upcoming Christopher Nolan sci-fi action thriller flick


With 2020 experiencing quite the rollercoaster thanks to the corona virus pandemic, most of the films that were slated to be released in the next few months have been moved to new release dates. However, Warner Bros. has still kept Christopher Nolan's "Tenet" on its July release window - and has shared some new stills to promote the film that stars John David Washington and Robert Pattinson among a very capable cast.

Dune: Check out the first images and details from Vanity Fair


As one of the oldest and most well-known science fiction franchises in the world, Frank Herbert's Dune is a story that is nothing short of epic and awe, and Vanity Fair takes a look behind the scenes at the upcoming new film adaptation set to be directed by Denis Villeneuve - which is just the first of two films planned to tell this tale set in the distant future where noble houses rule planetary fiefs and where "the spice" - a drug that extends human life and grants unimaginable abilities.

One of these is the brand film of actor Chris Hemsworth - aka Thor of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and an action star in his own right, who plays black market mercenary Tyler Rake and ends up in a rescue mission of a kidnapped boy gone awry in the action thriller called "Extraction"!

ICYMI: "Black Widow" shuffles to November 2020; "Eternals" on February 2021 due to corona virus


In light of the concerns of the corona virus pandemic affecting the world, Disney and Marvel Studios made the tough yet understandable decision to remove "Black Widow" from its late April/ early May release date, and have now revealed the the film will be released this November 6, 2020 instead. That date was initially reserved for "Eternals", but now that film will be getting a February 12, 2021 release date instead.
