Tyler Rake Returns in Extraction 2 - Coming to Netflix on June 16!

 


Chris Hemsworth returns to one of his noteworthy action packed roles, as he returns as the mercenary Tyler Rakes and takes on a mission with renewed purpose in “Extraction 2” - which Netflix dropped some new posters and a trailer for to hype up fans for its release this June!

Wednesday Officially Gets a Season 2 on Netflix!

 


Jenna Ortega is coming back to reprise her role as the young kooky daughter of The Addams Family, as Netflix officially announces that the hit series “Wednesday” is indeed returning for a full second season!🖤

Via an interview with Tudum.com, series creators and showrunners Alfred Gough and Miles Miller expressed their excitement at the news by releasing a statement to coincide with the good news:

It’s been incredible to create a show that has connected with people across the world.  Thrilled to continue Wednesday’s tortuous journey into season two. We can’t wait to dive head first into another season and explore the kooky spooky world of Nevermore. Just need to make sure Wednesday hasn’t emptied the pool first.”

Along with announcement comes some highlights via press release about what Wednesday has gained since it debuted on November on Netflix:

  • Wednesday is now one of the most successful series ever on Netflix. It ranks #2 on the Most Popular (English) TV list with 1.237 Billion hours viewed within its first 28 days.

  • More than 182 Million households have seen the series since its debut. (1.237B hours divided by 6.8 hours)

  • Wednesday crossed the 1 billion hour view mark only three weeks after debut – joining Stranger Things 4 and Squid Game as the third title to reach this milestone within its first 28 days. 

  • The series broke the record for the most hours viewed in a week for an English-language TV series on Netflix – not once, but twice – when it debuted in the #1 spot with a record breaking 341.23M hours viewed, and again in its second week with a staggering 411.29M hours viewed.

  • To date, Wednesday has had six consecutive weeks with over 100+M hours viewed on the English TV List — another record!

  • On TikTok, #WednesdayAddams has amassed over 22 Billion views 

  • The Wednesday soundtrack reached #1 on the iTunes Soundtrack chart where it remained in the Top 10 for three weeks. Wednesday Addams, the artist, now has over 1 Million followers on Spotify.

  • On Spotify, “Goo Goo Muck” by The Cramps saw a streaming increase of more than 9.5K% compared to the month prior to the series release.

  • Wednesday’s iconic dance scene has gone massively viral across global social media. Fan generated content utilizing “Bloody Mary” by Lady Gaga led to a streaming increase of more than 1,800% of the song on Spotify compared to the month prior the series release. Even Lady Gaga joined in on the fun. 

  • With over 80 Million views and counting, fans can’t get enough of the cast’s reaction to the iconic dance scene video. 

  • Wednesday’s viral makeup look has been searched for and viewed over 100 Million times by fans on TikTok.

  • Wednesday products are in high demand with select items selling out at retailers like Hot Topic, MAC and Cakeworthy. 

Wednesday will be back with Season 2 - with an announcement to follow soon from Netflix on when that will be some time down the line!

Netflix Lines Up the Cast of Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery With New Character Posters

 

Arriving on the streaming service just a few days before Christmas, Netflix has released a set of new character posters for "Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery" - the sequel to the 2019 mystery film "Knives Out" and once again seeing Daniel Craig reprise his role as private detective Benoit Blanc.

As you can tell, all the character posters spell out the title of the sequel, and you can take a look at the rest of them below!

Dwayne Johnson, Ryan Reynolds, and Gal Gadot headline Red Notice on Netflix this November!

 


Netflix is giving us some very big and high quality programs this November, and among them is a all-star cat and mouse game where an FBI agent teams up with an art thief to chase another one in Red Notice - which stars Dwayne Johnson, Ryan Reynolds, and Gal Gadot!

Netflix releases the Final Trailer for "The Witcher"


Over a week away until it premieres in the streaming service, Netflix has released the Final Trailer to their epic Fantasy Drama series "The Witcher" - which stars Henry Cavill in the titular role as Geralt of Rivia. In fact Cavill himself showcased the trailer to audiences in the Philippines for "The Witcher In Manila" event in Ayala Malls Manila Bay, giving fans in Manila a new look at the adventures to come in the brand new series.

The Witcher star Henry Cavill is coming to The Philippines!


Geralt of Rivia is going to set sail and take a trip to the Philippines, as Netflix has announced that British actor Henry Cavill is going to visit the country to promote the upcoming THE WITCHER Netflix Original Series! Based on the book series of the same name by Andrzej Sapkowski, the show is set to air on the streaming service this December - and the big star and witcher himself is coming to Philippine shores to meet fans and help spread the legend of "The Witcher" to newcomers as well!


Also known for his breakout roles in "Man of Steel", "The Man from U.N.C.L.E", and "Mission: Impossible - Fallout", Cavill has played multiple roles over the years and has earned worldwide recognition from playing heroic personas such as Superman to spy roles like Napoleon Solo. He plays the main protagonist in The Witcher as Geralt - a monster hunter who finds people more wicked than the beasts he hunts. However he is called to adventure once more when a Sorceress and a Princess join him in a quest that traverses the Continent.

Henry Cavill and "The Witcher" showrunner  Lauren Schmidt Hissrich will be at #TheWitcherInManila event this December 12th at Ayala Malls Manila Bay, Activity Center! Be sure to attend and experience the presence of Geralt and his world before the show airs that month!

ICYMI: Check out the Comic-Con Trailer for Netflix's "The Witcher"


Coming to Netflix later this 2019, Henry Cavill takes up the role of adventurer and monster hunter as the legendary Geralt of Rivia - as he leads an epic looking cast in the upcoming TV Series adaptation of Andrzej Sapkowski's "The Witcher". The series, created by Lauren Schmidt Hissrich, will run a total of eight episodes and will feature Freya Allen, Anya Chalotra, Adam Levy, and tons of other talents that make up the world of the unnamed Continent.



Premiering last weekend during the San Diego Comic-Con, here is the very first teaser trailer to "The Witcher".
