If you're a fan of "Family Guy" and have been rigorously watching Seth MacFarlane's hilarious animated comedy series, chances are you're aware already that one of the show's lead characters died this past Sunday, bringing a lot of negative feedback and tweets from the fanbase.

Announced online by newssites like Entertainment Weekly and creating a buzz like never before in his career, Family Guy and American Dad creator Seth MacFarlane was revealed to be the chosen host for the 85th installment of the Academy Awards, also known as The Oscars. Given his record for humor and not actually hosting an big event of this caliber, this is indeed a BIG surprise, and once can only wonder what's in store for The Oscars next year!
