In what may very well be a treat for Batman, Beetlejuice, and James Franco fans, the star and director himself has given this hilarious take on "The Dark Knight" while mashing it up with some of the "Ghost with the Most" after spinning the wheel in his comedy webseries "Making a Scene" and having to create a skit using the "Banana Boat" scene from Beetlejuice and the "Pencil Scene" from The Dark Knight.

Remembering Robin Williams...

It's hard not to choke up and be affected by the sudden death of a legendary actor who has literally touched the hearts of many worldwide like Robin Williams. His storied career in film, television, and stand-up comedy is what made him a household name, and for over 4 decades, he has entertained millions around the globe with performances that have made us laugh and made us cry - The true testament of an iconic presence and master of his craft.

The news literally shocked the world, and even after reading the breaking story via Coming Soon early this morning, I still couldn't accept or believe this tender presence from Hollywood was truly gone. He was a friend to many in the industry, and certainly charmed his way to viewers and the general public thanks to his great and fun charisma too.

It's no big secret either that one of Robin's closest friends is the late and great Christopher Reeve, whom the world knows better as the actor best known for portraying Superman in the 1978 film of the same name directed by Richard Donner. Reeve and Williams were classmates in Julliard School, and there would be tales of Chris sharing his blessings and food with Robin when times were going hard for the latter. In fact after Reeve was paralyzed in an equestrian competition accident, Williams was one of the first to visit his friend's side, cheering his friend up by reprising his role from "Nine Months" and making him laugh and realize he was going to be ok.

Those tender moments, as well as the roles Robin Williams embodied were the stuff of legends. He was well known for his time in television as the alien Mork in the Happy Days spin-off show "Mork & Mindy", and through film he has captured our hearts with roles of friends and beings we'd like to consider as good friends to be by our side. He played the heroic Popeye, voiced the Genie from Disney's beloved animated movie adaptation Aladdin, and played the older Peter Pan in the Steven Spielberg directed futuristic tale of Hook too. Williams also embodied the position of mentor and teacher in the films "Good Will Hunting" and "Dead Poets Society", and turned things like laughter, talent, and humanity into a strength amidst great odds in the movies "Patch Adams", "Mrs. Doubtfire", and "BiCentennial Man". There are so many roles to discuss and lay out, but everyone has a favorite and a timeless classic to relate the man and his legacy with to their very own lives and experiences.

So with this, we can only give our prayers, thanks, and gratitude to a man who has truly lived his life to entertain us with everything he had. Thank you and R.I.P, Robin Williams. :(

Guardians of the Galaxy: First Theatrical Trailer premieres on Jimmey Kimmel

Finally released after months of build-up, teases, and some juicy feeds, Marvel and Jimmy Kimmel Live! have released the very first theatrical trailer to Marvel Studios' next film this year for "Phase 2" of their Marvel Cinematic Universe - Guardians of the Galaxy! Unlikely as it sounds, this film is actually a Science Fiction adventure and comedy, and the trailer itself will show you how it will be!

Starring Chris Pratt as Star-Lord, Dave "Batista" Bautista as Drax the Destroyer, Zoe Saldana as Gamora, and Bradley Cooper and Vin Diesel as the voices of Rocket Raccoon and Groot, these ragtag group of misfits find themselves in an unlikely quest to save the universe when an mysterious orb thought to be a prized treasure turns out to be a deadly artifact that could destroy the universe.

Throwback Thursday: Tropic Thunder turns 5 years

Five years ago, who would have thunk that Ben Stiller would hit a gold mine and gather some of the most talented and zaniest bad-ass mofo actors to walk the face of the planet in one sensational hit comedy!?

Of course, I'm talking about none other than the 2008 laughtrip hit "Tropic Thunder", which stars and was directed by Stiller himself, with a cast that includes comedian Jack Black, newly inducted "Iron Man" at the time Robert Downey Jr., Matthew McConaughey, Nick Nolte, and a special unexpected cameo role by action star Tom Cruise himself! It was released on August 12th that year, and became certified gold thanks to awesome crack up jokes, undeniable schizophrenic like performances, and the kind of silliness and absurdity that'll make you turn over laughing like crazy.

The World's End theatrical poster sees the Three Flavours Cornetto Trilogy realized

Following the success of "Shaun Of The Dead" and "Hot Fuzz", Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, and director Edgar Wright prepare to cap off their "Three Flavours Cornetto Trilogy" by releasing the final installment in the saga with July's "The World's End".


The British-Sci-Fi Comedy sees Pegg and Frost star in a film that sees five childhood friends reunite and face a real alien invasion while attempting a "pub crawl" stint together to reach the fabled "The World's End" pub. The trailer has yet to appear online publicly, but a brand new theatrical poster has gone up, with Pegg and Frost right in the middle of trouble over the alien invasion of epic Sci-Fi proportions. The World's End gets a UK release on July 19 and on the US on August 23.

Gathered together to present a superhero adventure of zany proportions like no other, Adult Swim teams up with the creators of Robot Chicken, DC Comics, and Warner Bros. to present the "Robot Chicken DC Comics Special", which officially kicks off the 6th season of Robot Chicken! A trailer has been released for this wacky comedic spoof on the DC Universe and its cast of heroes and villains, harkening back to the days of Superfriends and beyond, and goes through great lengths to ensure that its a laugh trip like no other!

The Hangover 3 "Wolfpack" teaser image revealed

Scrawled over the interwebz and teasing the idiocy and hilarity to come, Warner Bros. and Legendary have unveiled the first teaser logo/ image for their third Wolfpack adventure for "The Hangover 3"! The sequel is expected to hit theaters on May 24, 2013, and will once again see director Todd Phillips back at the helm. Stars Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, and Zach Galifianakis are expected to return, with the story reportedly centering on Zach's character Alan getting institutionalized in a mental hospital and getting rescued by his buddies. College Humor spoofs The Dark Knight again with "Batman Interrogation"

I enjoy College Humor videos. They portray the comedy well and know how to satire the most fundamentally known genres in the popculture spectrum, and Batman is no exception to the rule either.
They had their first whack at The Dark Knight's world by spoofing the rooftop disappearing act Bat's is known for in "Batman: Vanishing", and now they take things a step further by interpreting the infamous "Interrogation Scene" from "The Dark Knight"... Only this time it goes horribly wrong and awkward with a case of mistaken identity, where the Caped Crusader picks on a regular clown, lol!

Movie Reviews: Fright Night, Contagion, and Horrible Bosses

I've seen a couple of movies this month, and I came out of each and every one them completely bewildered and satisfied thanks to the entertainment value, direction, and star power each one presented in their own right. I try to keep an open mind whenever I step into any type films, and regardless of what initial reviews featured on print media or the internet have to say, I'll still have to give my own two cents worth on the subject eventually when all is said and done. Right now, I have a couple under my belt that I've been itching to talk about, and while I may keep the reviews as brief and short as possible, I'll try to stick to the point and piece out what makes each one good in their own right.

I loved 2008's Kung Fu Panda. It was one of the most hilarious 3D animated films I've ever seen, thanks in part to the excellent voice casting and talents led by the tenacious one Jack Black, who voices the main fat panda hero Po! Of course, the film grossed out well in the box office, and a sequel is making its way to theaters May next year. If you're anxious to see a teaser of it, well look no further! Mega 64 Spoofs Batman Arkham Asylum!

Anything Batman related is where it's at, and when it comes to Batman: Arkham Asylum, that game redefined what it means to take on the role of the Dark Knight in the world of videogames. I loved playing that game with a passion. Exploring the house of the criminally insane and challenging each and everyone of the Joker's goons put you in the spot to be Gotham's greatest defender, and just being Batman deserves a round of applause from fans everywhere. It's been over half a year since that game came out, and with a Game Of The Year edition already on shelves, videogame comedy group Mega64 decides to spoof what I consider one of the best games of 2009, resorting to their usual tomfoolery and silly antics in public of course! Check it!

The Community "TDK" Halloween Spoof...

I haven't been watching too much TV lately, but thanks to the folks at You Tube, I get to see a couple of clips and bits from some of the newest shows making a buzz in the west. One of these shows, a comedy called "Community", deals with a lawyer named Jeff Winger (played by Joel McHale) who was suspended from practice and forced to return to college. Soon, he meets diverse personalities within his study group that have their own share of complexities, and this causes Jeff more than the usual headaches of going through school all over again. That just summarizes what the show is all about. Since All Hallow's Eve was celebrated just this past week, the show also decided to bring the Halloween A-Game up by spoofing one "memorable scene" from the uber fantastic Batman movie "The Dark Knight". Check the video below and see for yourselves what I mean:

After watching this, it appears we have to give thanks once again to Chris Nolan for directing one of the greatest superhero movies of all time, as well as Christian Bale, for providing one of the most "iconic voices" of all time. Time for me to don a mask and do my Batman voice *Growls*.
