ICYMI: Marvel's The Punisher teaser trailer released

Hitting Netflix later this year and proving that the character was popular enough in Daredevil Season 2 to warrant his own spinoff series, Jon Bernthal will be back to reprise his role as Frank Castle - the man who has sworn to wage a war against crime and eliminate it as the merciless vigilante known as "The Punisher".

Premiering along with the release of the Marvel Studios and Netflix series "The Defenders", here's the first teaser to the upcoming show:

Set to be released this week and with all eight episodes available for streaming, Marvel and Netflix have unveiled one final trailer to promote their upcoming superhero team-up TV show "The Defenders" - which assembles Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist together for the first time after their individual series and adventures!

Marvel's The Defenders: First Trailer and Banner poster released

After months of build up, promotions, and teasers, Marvel and Netflix have come together and revealed the first official trailer for "The Defenders" - uniting Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist together in their first team-up TV Series after their respective individual shows and seasons! The group takes on The Hand, and also features Alien film franchise star Sigourney Weaver as the villain Alexandra.

It looks like fans waiting anxiously for the release of the street level heroes show called "Marvel's The Defenders" won't have to wait too long for Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist to join forces, as Marvel and Netflix have revealed that the show is coming on August 18th, along with a short video teaser to sweeten that excitement.

Marvel's Iron Fist: Marvel and Netflix release four new photos

Set to premiere in the early part of next year and being the last show before the street level heroes unite for the show called "The Defenders", Marvel and Netflix have released four official photos for "Marvel's Iron Fist", which stars Game of Thrones actor Finn Jones in the leading role as Danny Rand/ Iron Fist - who returns to NYC after missing for years while rebuilding his life and fighting criminals as a kung-fu master with the ability to tap into the power of the mystical Iron Fist.

Marvel and Netflix pair up to bring Daredevil, Power Man, Iron Fist, and Jessica Jones and unite them as The Defenders!

Big news has come once again to those looking forward to some new Marvel shows, as The Walt Disney Co. and Netflix have announced something exciting for fans of some particular New York-based Marvel Heroes who will not only be getting their own individual serialized programs, but eventually lead up to one big miniseries event!

Announced and reported by sites like Superherohype, it appears that Marvel TV will be developing four shows based on the heroes "Daredevil", "Iron Fist", "Power Man/ Luke Cage", and "Jessica Jones", each holding their own live-action television series that will run for about thirteen episodes each! The project, which will be produced by Marvel Television and ABC Television Studios, is expected to begin in 2015, and all individual character's series will converge into a separate team mini-series called "Marvel's The Defenders", which follows the same kind of formula as the films and heroes features in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, where heroes such as Iron Man, Captain America, and Thor  had their own movies and eventually teamed up in one mega-blockbuster hit film that was "Marvel's The Avengers"!

This is definitely big and awesome news, especially for fans of Marvel Knights, Daredevil, Power Man/ Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and Jessica Jones/ Alias! After bringing Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D into the fold and experimenting with the Marvel Cinematic Universe on the small screen, it isn't a surprise that Marvel Entertainment is taking this approach, and having recently reacquired the rights back to Daredevil, this will do nicely to bring all the heroes together, big and small screen combined!
