R.I.P Larry King - Iconic news anchor and talk show host passes away at 87

The world mourns the loss of a legendary talk show host and icon, as CNN itself reports that their very own Larry King of "Larry King Now" has passed away at the age of 87.

With a career that spans over six decades in television, King embodied the kind of news anchor that told you the news and facts straight. Conducting countless interviews, appearing in discussions, and winning awards through his years of service, his reputation and legacy extend beyond the news room - with his status as a popular culture icon also seen in thousands of programs and films.

R.I.P Larry, and thank you for giving us the news in both the analog and digital age.

Reactions to the TDKR/ Colorado Theater Shooting

The news of the Colorado Theater Shooting during a screening of The Dark Knight Rises hit the world hard today, myself included. Families and innocent people became victims to a senseless act of violence. The cancelation of the TDKR premiere in Paris is just one of those precautions taken to ensure safety and security of others. I hope the man who caused all of this is sentenced accordingly. I find the crime very appalling, and my heart and sympathies go out to the victims of this horrible crime. Let's pray for them and their families.

Christian "Batman" Bale involved in real life police chase in China!

If you thought movies and Batman were all there is to Academy Award winner and British actor Christian Bale, think again.

Via a report by CNN and posted in websites like Comic Book Movie, Bale was involved in a clash with Chinese authorities and chased for about 30 minutes when he attempted to meet human rights activist Chen Guangcheng while he was in China for the premiere of his latest flick "The Flowers of War". Check out what happened in the embedded video below, coming from Mediate.

Christian "Batman" Bale involved in real life police chase in China!

Known for getting in rough situations now and then (including the infamous Terminator Salvation set mixup), Christian Bale still is my top pick as an actor to portray The Dark Knight. Catch him again when he wears the cape and cowl when The Dark Knight Rises arrives in theaters on July 20, 2012.

A moment of silence for Japan this day...

I wasn't in the mood to write anything after learning of the devastating quake and tsunami that hit Japan earlier, and all I can do at this moment is offer my prayers and best wishes for the victims affected by this tragedy. The story continues to break out all over the news channels such as Yahoo and CNN as of this posting. If there was any time to be aware and concerned for others, now is the moment to do so. All we can do now is hope for the best...
