Arrow: WildCat confirmed for Season 3 and will be played by J.R. Ramirez
Looks like we're getting a lot more heroes from the DC Universe for the third season of The CW's highly successful superhero TV Series "Arrow", and after the SDCC panel of the show confirmed that the tease star Stephen Amell posted weeks ago was that of a reference to the character "Wildcat", Deadline and Superherohype have now reported that the part has been cast and given to "House of Payne" star J.R. Ramirez!
What's interesting though is not just that the Justice Society of America alum and hero will be appearing on the show, but that the news and bits about Ted Grant and his alter ego. Wildcat will have a "pivotal role with Laurel Lance" this season, and if one follows the series and the history of the character in comics, then we'll be possibly see the birth of a certain female crimefighter and love interest Green Arrow fans know and love so well - Black Canary. It's true that Sarah Lance, Laurel's sister, has played "The Canary" and looks the part... But that may well be the show's way of updating up Laurel and turning her into the character we know from the books, especially since her full name is Laurel "Dinah" Lance!
Arrow Season 3 begins airing on October 8 on the CW!
