Transformers: Dark Of The Moon - Linkin Park "Iridescent" Music Video

A week left until it premieres in international territories, the marketing drive for Michael Bay's third and final Tranformers flick, Transformers: Dark of the Moon, has reached hyped up proportions and reminding us that the end of the trilogy is at hand. From the release of Hasbro's toy merchandise to the gossip and news from media outlets that Megan Fox was fired by Bay because of Steven Spielberg, there's little reason not to be informed or aware that the robots in disguise are returning to the big screen in a few days, and it'll be available in both conventional theaters and 3D.

As per custom for the TF movies, the official soundtrack has been released well before the movie comes to theaters. Headlining the album again is American rock band sensation Linkin Park, who return with a ballad song called "Iridescent", a song "which speaks about hope amidst chaos and sadness" according to the official Wiki. Unlike "What I've Done" and "New Divide", this song feels more appropriate to the "serious theme" the third TF movie is conveying to audiences (chaos and hope), and I find it more catchy as I listen to it more and more. You can check out the music video below, which has its share of scenes and stills from the upcoming movie, as well as Linkin Park dressed in fashionable attire, mirroring what they're trying to project with their new song.

For extras, here's a behind the scenes look at the creation of the Music Video:

Transformers 3 Update: Here's a new poster!

After unveiling that new trailer yesterday for the world to see, Paramount Pictures has released a new poster that pretty much sums up what Transformers: Dark of the Moon will be all about. You have a pretty bad-ass and ready for action Optimus Prime in the middle of a devastated Chicago, alongside Shia LaBeouf and Rose Huntington-Whitley as they survey the invading Decepticon spaceships attacking the planet. It's an impressive poster despite the human characters in it, and since I'm a Prime fan, I'm loving the bad-ass look here.

While I was hoping to see more Megatron/ Hugo Weaving moments in the trailer, I can't say I'm not looking forward to seeing this film, which will be Michael Bay's last entry directing the TF Movie line. Hopefully it'll wrap up things neatly... and not present a cluster "twin riddled" confusion like Revenge of the Fallen did in 2009. For more info on the poster, check out the source link via Slash Film!

Transformers: Dark of the Moon is slated for a July 1 release.

Transformers 3 Update: A good look at Sentinel Prime!

In an article that has Michael Bay providing insights on his third upcoming Transformers film, Screen Rant has also posted up a new official image of Autobot hero Sentinel Prime, who appears ready for a fight and looking all high and mighty with that battle stance.

First seen in website Lyrics Interactive, that's one badass looking Prime that legendary Star Trek actor Leonard Nimoy will be voicing come July. For more on Bay's candid insights and information on the movie, visit the source post over at Screen Rant!

Transformers 3 Update: Leonard Nimoy IS Sentinel Prime!

It may be April Fools and this may sound like a joke, but I just got wind of this very awesome piece of Transformers movie news, and I'm inclined to believe that this is the genuine article. Somehow and some way, director Michael Bay has cast another legendary presence to his next Transformers flick hitting this July... and by legend, I mean TRUE LEGEND!

As posted in Slash Film and announced first by Entertainment Weekly's website, it appears that legendary Star Trek actor and Mr. Spock himself, Leonard Nimoy, will be voicing the role of Sentinel Prime, predecessor and mentor figure to Optimus Prime! Besides his iconic status as the Vulcan who served aboard the U.S.S Enterprise (a role he reprised in 2009's Star Trek), Nimoy is a legend in various forms of media and has provided his voice for several shows back in the day, including Transformers!

Leonard Nimoy as Galvatron... BadAss then... and still BadAss now!

Those who follow his credentials well will know that he provided the voice of Galvatron in 1986's animated classic flick, Transformers The Movie, and now he returns, this time in the side of good as Sentinel Prime! Nimoy just celebrated his 80th bday a couple of days ago, and now this piece of news definitely gets my gears up and excited to watch this flick all the more, and together with Peter Cullen voicing Optimus Prime, Michael Bay may redeem himself yet with his last hurrah in the Transformers franchise! For more info, visit the source posts over at Slash Film and EW!

Transformers: Dark of the Moon is set to launch another wave of Cybertronian battles this July 7!

Transformers 3 Update: The First Teaser Poster!

Fans of Michael Bay's Transformers series have gotten steady updates regarding the shoots, props, and robots appearing in the third movie set to appear next year, but now, a teaser image has been spotted and shows none other than the Autobot leader himself, Optimus Prime!

As featured in a post Enewsi, the poster, as found inEleocho's Twitter account, has Prime standing headstrong and posing in iconic fashion, with the logo "TF3" seen right below. The date for the movie's release can also be seen - July 1, 2011. Hopefully this second sequel will redeem any bad taste some fans may have with 2009's Revenge Of The Fallen, and with Megan Fox's character now replaced by a new female lead, it remains to be seen what direction Sam Witwicky's story will go for this new movie chronicling the war between the Autobots and Decepticons on Earth. All we know is that Prime and Megatron will battle once more, with new Cybertronians joining the fray to even up the odds on both sides.

The Sir Ben Kingsley TF3 'Audition'!

Courtesy from Slash Film, I enjoyed this hilarious segment.

We all know Megan Fox has left her role as Mikaela in Michael Bay's Transformers 3, and a new love interest for Shia LaBeouf's character Sam Witwicky has been cast, namely Victoria's Secret model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. Before that however, reality TV star Heidi Montag tried and sent to Bay a video audition for the 'love interest role' when it was still up for grabs. Check it out here and see how that turned out:

Heidi Montag Video Audition

Now, what if veteran actor, Shutter Island, and Prince Of Persia star Sir Ben Kingsley actually auditioned for the same part? This is a spoof you gotta see to believe:

Genius. The man's got the talent! He'll Pass!

Megan Fox Gone From Transformers 3?!

WOAH... This is surprising news!

According to a report by Enewsi and Superherohype, actress Megan Fox won't be returning as Shia "Sam Witcwicky" LaBeouf's love interest, Mikaela, in Transormers 3! Instead, Paramount Pictures and director Michael Bay are going to cast a new love interest that will play opposite LaBeouf's character, working on a new direction for the Autobot vs Decipticon sequel. I call this surprising since the picture you see above with her and Bumblebee only appeared a few weeks ago! Still, rumors have been flying that this supposed firing could be related to the previous "hearty comments" Fox made over Bay's direction during shooting of their previous movie, Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen.

If this piece of news proves to be true, then I am one sad fanboy. Megan Fox was one of the eyecatching new Hollywood stars to debut in the franchise back in 2007, and her beauty and sex appeal has led the actress to be cast in several other movies, most notably in horror flick Jennifer's Body and this year's upcoming film adaptation of the comic book series Jonah Hex. Now that she's apparently been booted from TF3, what's next for the mega hot star?

You can read more about the report via the links above. Transformers 3 is scheduled to hit theaters on July 1 next year.
