Indiana Jones: Blu-Ray Set Raiders of the Lost Ark "Deleted Fight Scene"

With the new Indiana Jones: The Complete Adventures Blu-Ray set on the way this month, Lucasfilm Ltd. and Paramount are going all out in promoting the collection's numerous special features. That being said, Bleeding Cool and Entertainment Weekly have provided a sneak peek at one of those extras, featuring a look at what could have been the "Indy vs Swordsman fight scene" from Raiders of the Lost Ark... had Harrison Ford not had an upset stomach.

No matter what was intended originally, it all turned out for the best in the end.

Via a post from Superherohype, Paramount Pictures and Marvel Entertainment have released two clips featuring B-Roll footage from the set of Captain America: The First Avenger! Much like Thor, this is pretty much a "Behind-The-Scenes" look at the movie, so it does contain MAJOR SPOILERS. Look at these at your own risk if you can't wait to see what's in store in next few days, otherwise, wait til July 22 for the movie to hit theaters!

Thor Update: A new poster and a new banner debuts!

With two months to go before it shows in theaters, Marvel and Paramount have released two new images for their first superhero flick this year, Thor! Both shown and revealed in IGN as well as featured in Slash Film, first up is a new poster, featuring a mugshot of actor Chris Hemsworth in character and costume, with the entire image draped in a hue of red, and the words "The God Of Thunder" placed right smack in the middle before the logo to remind viewers of who exactly this man is.

If that wasn't enough, Marvel and Paramount have also released a banner featuring mugshots of not only Thor himself, but also of other prominent characters in the movie, namely Odin, Jane Foster, and Heimdall, combined together to form the main "THOR" logo itself. It looks like the movie's building up to be an epic superhero flick, so stay tuned for more updates. For more details on these images, visit the source posts over at IGN and Slash Film!

Kung Fu Panda 2 Teaser Trailer Is Online!

I loved 2008's Kung Fu Panda. It was one of the most hilarious 3D animated films I've ever seen, thanks in part to the excellent voice casting and talents led by the tenacious one Jack Black, who voices the main fat panda hero Po! Of course, the film grossed out well in the box office, and a sequel is making its way to theaters May next year. If you're anxious to see a teaser of it, well look no further! As posted in movie news site Slash Film, DreamWorks Animation and Paramount Pictures have released the first teaser trailer of the next film - Kung Fu panda 2: The Kaboom of Doom!

Heh, Jack Black is still freakin' hilarious! Kung Fu Panda 2 launches into a fist of fury May 26, 2011!

Marvel announces Iron Man 3's release date!

Marvel has announced on their official website that Tony Stark will return to don his high-tech wonder suit in "Iron Man 3" on May 3, 2013! The next sequel for ol' shellhead has been given a date, and it will take place right after "The Avengers" film hits on May 4, 2012 of the previous year. It's also been announced that Walt Disney Studios, Paramount Pictures, and Marvel Studios have reached an agreement, where Disney will be in charge of the worldwide marketing and distribution rights to "The Avengers" and "Iron Man 3" on those years, while Paramount will still be in charge of worldwide distribution of "Thor" and "Captain America: The First Avenger" next year, as well as retaining the already released "Iron Man" and "Iron Man 2" movies.

SDCC 2010: Brad Pitt Confirmed For World War Z Film!

World War Z was simply an amazing book.

Chronicling the individual accounts of several witnesses that have experienced the zombie apocalypse first hand, this 2006 Max Brooks penned novel remains one of my favorite literary fiction works, and has achieved recognition and praise from fans of the zombie genre, mostly notably for its use of social commentary on humanity's flaws and issues over one another amidst the zombie epidemic, not unlike that of George A. Romero's Living Dead films, which the novel takes great inspiration from. As a fan of zombies movies myself, I really enjoyed reading this piece, as well as the other books Mr. Brooks has chugged out for the undead hungry, such as The Zombie Survival Guide.

With good material like this selling like hotcakes, a film adaptation is never far behind, and sure enough, it's on the works now. World War Z will be receiving the big screen treatment courtesy of Paramount Pictures, with Brad Pitt's Plan B Entertainment securing the rights to the film. To be directed by Marc Forster, World War Z is slated for a summer 2012 release, with the screenplay also co-written by popculture author J. Michael Straczynski, who's known for his works in Television shows like Babylon 5, and comics like the Amazing Spider-Man and, most recently, Superman.

Speaking of Brad Pitt and his production company, Paramount has just announced in the San Diego Comic-Con that the actor will star in the film as well! Now imagine that... Brad Pitt fighting and trying to survive in a post apocalyptic zombie world! This I got to see!

For more info, check out Enewsi! World War Z opens sometime on Summer 2012!

Megan Fox Gone From Transformers 3?!

WOAH... This is surprising news!

According to a report by Enewsi and Superherohype, actress Megan Fox won't be returning as Shia "Sam Witcwicky" LaBeouf's love interest, Mikaela, in Transormers 3! Instead, Paramount Pictures and director Michael Bay are going to cast a new love interest that will play opposite LaBeouf's character, working on a new direction for the Autobot vs Decipticon sequel. I call this surprising since the picture you see above with her and Bumblebee only appeared a few weeks ago! Still, rumors have been flying that this supposed firing could be related to the previous "hearty comments" Fox made over Bay's direction during shooting of their previous movie, Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen.

If this piece of news proves to be true, then I am one sad fanboy. Megan Fox was one of the eyecatching new Hollywood stars to debut in the franchise back in 2007, and her beauty and sex appeal has led the actress to be cast in several other movies, most notably in horror flick Jennifer's Body and this year's upcoming film adaptation of the comic book series Jonah Hex. Now that she's apparently been booted from TF3, what's next for the mega hot star?

You can read more about the report via the links above. Transformers 3 is scheduled to hit theaters on July 1 next year.

Can't Get Enough Iron Man 2!

This is a pretty sweet poster of Iron Man 2 I found in Kotaku, which is literally a colorful collage of every character and almost every key scene/ moment that fans and viewers will see in the movie. I reviewed the film a few days ago (the same day I watched it a whoppin' THREE TIMES), and despite some reservations I have regarding the film's pace, I still enjoyed it quite a lot, and I wouldn't mind seeing it again given the chance. It's Tony Stark at his finest, Rhodey suiting up as War Machine, Nick Fury at his sharpest, and Black Widow looking all sexy and hot in one package. If you need more reviews on this film, you can check out the link on Kotaku above or browse through your usual movie review sites. Bottomline, it's Iron Man, and you can never go wrong with a Marvel movie of this magnitude, especially when it leads on to other superhero flicks that finally converge with the one film to gather them all... The Avengers!

Iron Man 2 Knocksout The Hype!

I found this little piece via MarvelousNews.com, and I must say, it looks funny and epic!

As you can see, it's a picture of the legendary Sylvester Stallone, who "delivs a knockout punch" to Iron Man star Robert Downey Jr! That means Rocky can beat up Tony Stark if he wants to, hehe! Jokes aside, this was one of the pictures taken during the film's premiere at Los Angeles last April 26th! There's more about it and the press conference by clicking the link above, and you can also view RDJ and Jon Favreau's surprise visit to Austin, Texas in the video below! Awesome!

Iron Man 2 Update: Two New Posters and New Promo Clip!

One week to go before Iron Man 2! That's exciting news already if I do say so myself! However, Marvel Studios and Paramount Pictures aren't letting the updates die down anytime soon, as they've released new promotional material to keep the hungry fans like myself drooling even more!

Now THIS was the poster I was expecting and waiting for since I saw the second trailer! Movie fansites Superherohype and Marvelousnews just got the exclusive new look at the latest Iron Man 2 poster, featuring the Mark V "Suitcase" Suit in all its wacky techno glory! Arguably this is the fan favorite suit coming into the movie, and I don't blame anyone who likes it! It's sleek, sexy, and unique, and pays tribute to the comics by honoring Tony's suitcase armor and the Silver Centurion armor with its color scheme. You can notice a bit of battle damage on the IMAX promoting poster, but still... Awesome is the word.

Next up, we have another new IM2 villain poster from Marvelousnews, with none other than Ivan "Whiplash" Vanko in it! Here we see the Russian genius standing silently and contemplatively, armed with his energy whips and primed to get revenge on Tony Stark! I gotta say, Mickey Rourke has truly come back to the spotlight playing this character, and he looks as menacing as ever!

Finally, a new clip from the movie has surfaced on MSN, featuring Tony Stark, Pepper Potts, Justin Hammer, and the Vanity Fair reporter Christine Everhart in it! You can check it out via the link here! Watch out for spoilers!

Iron Man 2 Update: New ThingsTo Relish!

As always, nothing keeps a good Iron Man fan down... so to further promote the film, Paramount and Marvel Studios have released several new photos and TV Spots to amp up the excitement more than a shellhead devotee can take!

As you can see above, that's one of seven new photos Marvel.com has released for Iron Man 2. This particular image shows Iron Man in his Mark IV suit, preparing to blast a can of repulsor whoop ass on whatever is waiting on the other side. My guess is this is from the "versus Mark II" scene, but then again, we'll have to wait for the film to come out by the end of the month to find out! Check out more photos from Marvel.com here!

As if the last two weren't enough, here's TV Spot #4 and #5 for Iron Man 2! Check 'em and weep!
