The True Story of the CW's "Arrowverse" documented by Screen Rant

As with all things there are always early beginnings - so how The CW developed a very successful DC TV Universe is a story that anyone just jumping into the wagon will want to hear for the very first time! Thankfully Screen Rant has created this very in depth and reflective "True Story" documentary about the fan named "Arrowverse" which is officially promoted as "DC on the CW" - with Arrow leading the charge and its spin-off shows such as The Flash, Supergirl, and Legends of Tomorrow all bringing such entertainment and heroic adventures that crossover from time to time as well!

Justice League: Darkseid was cut from original ending of film according to Kevin Smith

Justice League is already three weeks "All In" in theaters, and while it has passed the $500 Million mark in the Box Office it has received mixed reviews from critics and viewers alike. This has led many to believe that Zack Snyder's original vision of the film (if not changed by WB and adding new scenes by Joss Whedon) would have featured something pretty interesting and actually expected by fans - an appearance by the big baddie from Apokalips himself, DARKSEID.

According to Kevin Smith's "Fatman on Batman" podcast - the tyrannical ruler and wielder of the Omega Sanction was supposed to appear via visions seen by a resurrected Superman who briefly turns evil because of Steppenwolf's tempting offer. Unfortunately that never came to pass in the final release, and all we get is stories of what could have been from Smith - which was reported by Newsarama and Screen Rant as well. Hopefully in the home video release we may see those things behind the scenes touched upon by Snyder and crew. Until then, it's still a long wait until this DCEU film hits Blu-Ray, Digital, and DVD.

Justice League is currently playing in theaters.

Batman Vs Superman: Denzel Washington being rumored for the role of Green Lantern John Stewart

Now this can be taken with a BIG Grain of Salt since this is a rumor... But it's pretty interesting to say the least for a casting choice on Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment's upcoming Man Of Steel sequel for 2015, the yet untitled "Batman Vs Superman" movie that now has Wonder Woman in it!

With plenty of rumors abuzz suggesting that other heroes and villains may appear in the upcoming superhero film, the one lingering and interesting theory was that Academy Award Winning actor Denzel Washington would be up for a role in the film, and early reports suggested he'd be an African-American version of Superman's eternal arch-nemesis, Lex Luthor.

That doesn't seem to be the case now however, as a new scoop according to Nuke The Fridge and posted by Screen Rant suggests that Mr. Washington may not play a villain, but rather a hero... And that's Green Lantern John Stewart!

Batman Vs Superman: Gal Gadot is officially your new Wonder Woman/ Diana Prince, and why it could work

The news has broken out courtesy of Warner Bros. and it's very much official: The Fast and The Furious franchise's own Gal Gadot has been cast as Wonder Woman/ Diana Prince in director Zack Snyder's as of yet untitled "Batman Vs Superman" film which acts as a sequel to this year's Man Of Steel! The news comes straight from DC Entertainment and Warner Bros, so fans officially get to see the pairing of DC's own heroic Trinity on the big screen on 2015, as Gadot joins Henry Cavill's Superman and Ben Affleck's Batman!

On the casting, Snyder has commented:

"Wonder Woman is arguably one of the most powerful female characters of all time and a fan favorite in the DC Universe. Not only is Gal an amazing actress, but she also has that magical quality that makes her perfect for the role. We look forward to audiences discovering Gal in the first feature film incarnation of this beloved character."

That man is none other than The Town director Ben Affleck, who himself played a superhero in the form of 20th Century Fox's 2003 film adaptation of the Marvel Comics superhero Daredevil. The studio has already hired Will Beall to write the script, and now talks are to bring the Academy Award and Golden Globe winner on board to take on DC's finest team of superheroes.
